New Message Received?

I'm getting a message saying "New Message Received" on my screen. How do I retrieve this message?

I got the message too, but my phone was in my bag without its battery attached. Nothing.

It works in SP (if you put a battery in your phone). It's just a message alerting you to an available quest from one of the vendors at any of the safe zones.

Seems tied to mobile phones. I can trigger it when moving my phone to a container for example. Also seems to happen when I find a phone in loot. Maybe even when I'm going near a phone that I found in loot but did not pick up?

I have accepted my first job via phone but not yet visited the trader for details. My phone does not display more jobs or messages.

Maybe that's it. Maybe it only informs you of Quests on the phone.

Seems to me this message only ocur in the upper part of the map?? As soon I drive to the south I get the messages on my phone??

i think the new message system is a mess right now, anytime anyone gets a message everyone gets a message telling them, there should be a way to limit this so only the person getting the quest gets the message, also i should be able to turn off the phone and be able to buy anything from a trader, right now certain items can`t be brought and this also happens if i don`t have a phone, why do the devs never test things this should not happen like this.

About this topic, we need to be able to "dismiss" notifications in the journal or phone. When phone is off they should not display. I started a quest and its a big blue notice taking up part of the screen the whole time till its completed. The only way I could see to hide it was to abandon the quest?

You can hide the jobs, there's some button or icon in the journal

Yeah i have been receiving that a lot and i play SP i think its tied to the phone i didn't play much with the new quest system but i suppose its to notify you have new missions avaliable maybe?
