Help: Quad Battery

I am trying hard to get a Battery installed in a Quad. But whatever I do does not work. I tried car battery and tried motorbike battery I tried with car jack and without. I dont even know if there is a battery allready in. But there is no option to remove one or add one. There is no active option to charge it. I tried charging it holding an extra battery in hand and the charging wires in the inventory and the other way round. Last time I used the car jack and finished the service the carjack disapeared. Can someone give the exact procedure and the exact things I need to make this run? Thx

The battery is under the seat. You can access it from the back while it's on the car jack by looking in over the rear tire. It uses the car battery.

Don't know if you can charge it while it's installed. Once I put a live one in the quad charged it up. You can always remove it and with another charged battery and battery cables in your inventory charge it that way by right click menu.

If it doesn't have one when you service it to install make sure to have the battery in your hands.

Yeah, found that you have to lay completely flat on the ground and point up towards under the seat where a very tiny tiny slither gap will allow you to select to either 'install' or 'remove' the large car battery (not the small battery type), but you have to move the mouse around a fair bit and be extremely patient to pinpoint that tiny little slither of a gap in order for the option to appear to be able to do it.

Now, I had all the tires and all the accessories taken off to see how to install the battery, and I put them aside, but now that I logged in again, they are all gone. Project Quad for now given up.

Spent 6 hrs today between two quads trying to install the battery with no success. Each one I stripped down in hopes that would help and it didn't. Had the battery (car battery) in my hand each time I tried something different from standing on the quad to crawling underneath. With Jack and without jack. Watched video's for installing them (I had no problem before this last update, I even had two quads that worked just fine then), I am playing single so not on a server. However, I overlooked just one small detail...The motor's were missing... DOH!!!
