SCUM

??Pingperfect, Nitrado, or GPortal??
Looking to rent my own server {US}. I've never rented one before and would like to get some opinions on which one is best for Scum. I will probably only have 10 player slots. I would like to adjust the setting a bit on my server too, like having higher loot, more puppets, more wildlife and more vehicles and No Mechs or exploding puppets. So the easier to adjust those settingsthe better.

Thanks

I only use G Portal, and it's pretty good. Everything you name that you would like to change.
You can. I did hear PingPerfect was a bit better for big servers. If your only going to do 10 slots. I would say go with G Portal.

GG Host is another option

We started on a Nitrado server. At one point the server just started crashing for no reason and randomly deciding what to load back in. Calls to them and service tickets by the server owner went no where. We wiped and it still continued so we switched to GPortal around jan 2021 and have had no issues since!

g portal. nitrado is poop. ping perfect is kinda expensive for same quality really.

Nitrado had major stability issues when they came on the scene so haven't tried them since. I did like the admin set up they had though.

GPortal were the first for SCUM and have been pretty stable since day 1 with servers below 40 players.

PingPerfect are new to me so haven't tried them but they seem expensive. If it means better hardware which in turn give better performance at 40+ players then that negates the price issue.

I have a PingPerfect that shows up as 100km on Battlemetrics and it's as if I'm playing local, the other thing is support, on fault of my own they responded literally under a minute.

The other thing I like and don't know if the others have it is the ability to back up the server in case something "unexpected" happens and the restore and reboot took minutes.

As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.
Hello, I have a doubt, I'm Brazilian, and renting a server in Brazil is very expensive, how can I know which is the best country for me to acquire hosting, I say how will I know the best ping of countries apart from Brazil?

I've actually only heard quite bad things about Nitrado - especially their customer service like no response or even having to wait for a very long time - not talking hours here -
The short time of period I tried it, it didn't seem like they bothered to update the server settings like they were supposed to.
I don't know about now though if things got better, but not exactly a good reputation.

I will put a good word for Ping Perfect though (I've used G-portal as well). Their customer support is absolutely perfect and always very helpful, and their game panel is very userfriendly
