Dowload this game on external disk

Hello.
Can anyone tell me if i will be able to run this game even if i download it on an external SSD disk ?
It happens that DayZ won't work if it's not downloaded on my hard drive.
I'm not sure but i think it's the anti cheat system that can't see/reach the game so it become unplayable.
Is it the same problem with this game ?

Hello :)

I would not recommend external drives for Demanding games, you should isntall it on your Drives on the rig.

Other people who used externals have reported issues. Mostly (but not entirely) with startup speed and loading lag.

OP, what you will Experiance is Black screen while it loads.
Meaning, your monitor will be simply black like something died!
Just know, its doing its thing in the background, dont do anything but wait until it loads.

While it's not recommended there is nothing stoping you from doing so. Jut note that speeds of transfer will be much slower and when booting up the game you will have a black screen, even when you are in the game streaming speeds for you might be quite low and everything will render in a bit late.

Yes, "rig" is what I call PC builds. This happens above all when I have to keep topics apart, because I use different terms that actually always describe the same thing in order to maintain order and structure for me. :)
