DLC characters (A few ideas)

This specific game requires a lot of real life time to play. Given the amount of grinding skill points and the labor intensive base construction, why isn't everyone buying the Danny Trejo or axe man characters? It is a very good advantage to spawn with an axe weapon and having no orange clothes. I use the DLC characters, because I play solo and enjoy having the ax on hand every time I die on official servers. I have noticed that some players max out their strength, running, and melee skills and run the Danny Trejo character with great effect. They can run up to fully geared players while using high ping lag and kill them easily, the lag makes them almost impossible to hit with bullets. I have seen several buffed up 8 strength Trejo guys kill me in such a manner.

I know many players are against the idea of Pay to Win. However, as a solo player who has thousands of hours I enjoy having the DLC characters because I die often and lose my gear completely unlike squads that can pick up their own gear back from dead player.

Would be very unfair to have John Wick DLC with MK18 and bulletproof suit for example :D

What does the community think about the DLC characters on official servers with no bot shop? Do you think its fair to purchase such perks? What do developers think about adding more DLC options in the future?

PS: Unfortunately, I am unable to comment on Discussions due to my Steam Settings. My opinion is that as a solo player I like the idea of DLC characters with Melee weapon. It is frustrating to make ax everytime I die and find new clothes. Thanks

Also, thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately this situation that you've experienced is more of an exploit than a P2W mechanic. As for the John Wick idea, that would be beyond cool, However, we're missing a woman DLC character that we'd very much like to have, but currently we're focused on delivering 1.0 at the moment and any further discussion on this matter will be conducted after that.

Such characters are PAY TO WIN, there several threads about that. 8str full meele trejo is a killing machine.
Few days ago we were raiding a base, enemy got killed over and over again but we ran out of bullets slowly because they spawned endless, so we had to stop raid and left. They all had trejo, 2 hits on full gear = dead. Additional said, fresh spawn light character is way to fast, almost impossible to hit with gun.

Can't call it an exploit if you intentionally designed it that way. Exploiting means taking advantage of a flawed game mechanic or an oversight, not a dlc starter toon with a gifted weapon.
That's called pay to win period, regardless how often you gonna deny it.

I changed my point of view after playing and watching a lot of videos. Danny Trejo should show up without a machete. This is still an advantage. How to fix? For example, he could go to a machine to make a machete.

Or get it for free at a trader. There were countless suggestions made, wich 98% of could've ended the p2w discussion but nothing ever happend.
And guess the reason... Without the machete the dlc would be way less attractive to pvpers, means less sales.

Maybe it is that there just is none interested, or that you can't get them from what company owns them on the cheap!

Please if you add a female DLC, give her some sexy clothing. It's annoying suiciding Luis Moncada alt account, just to give my female characters his clothes. Also please choose someone pretty if you can't get anyone beautiful.
