2) Gather stuff you think would be valuable, its not always big stuff either, work lights and gas stoves arent awful, but the most value will usually be weapons, clips, most tools like extra crowbars you find, as well as car parts. Take these to a green circle on the map, its a safe zone with NPC merchants, only certain merchants will buy certain items (weapons merchant, mechanic, ect.). If you lost your card, you'll have to take cash till you can go to the bank, also in that area, and buy a new card. From then on you can deposit your sales directly in your account.
3) Most resources will despawn when you leave the area, some larger objects will not. usually things like generators and mini fridges will stay, pots and pans will, i leave mine on the grill all the time when i log out. If its a tool or a weapon, dont leave it behind unless you're sure you dont need it.
4) as with the previous question, it will be there for a little while, default maybe 20 minutes or so, but treat it as you would most items, once you leave the area, most stuff will be gone if you come back 20 minutes later. if you respawn close by it is possible to recover your clothes and bags, holstered weapons ive noticed disappear faster
5) they are a mark of progress, you gain them from various actions and even just being online and playing. they also limit what you can buy at the merchants. until your fame is high enough most of their merch will be unavailable to you, it will tell you how many you need to shop in each category. they are not spent by doing this, but by dying or failing to pick locks, it can go back down.
You're welcome and i do wish you luck out there
If you choose big penis, you will be nomadic, unproductive, and poor.
1) Yes, it used to be fame as currency (fame were points you gain when do certain things like killing a puppet or survive) to respawn but now to respawn on your shelter/bed, it use gold on official server/settings. You can change it to cash or eliminate its cost on single player
2) Starting card is dangerous because have no security so if you are on a server and someone find your body (after dying) and take your card can withdraw your money.
To increase the money in your bank, loot items, go to an outpost and sell the items then proceed to the bank and deposit it
3) Resources, tools and weapons despawn after you leave the area for a while. Try to don't leave important items on ground
4) The despawn time for your body loot is around 20 minutes or less if you die again because it will despawn the first one, only the lastest corpse will remain in the world. With sector spawn usually you reach your body in 7-10 minutes except if someone in the server took your items...
5) It used to be a coin to respawn, now it just unlocks what you can and cannot buy from outpost so basically it is just a wall to stop you from buying vehicles, tools or weapons as a newcomer (if you have the money). You get fame from staying alive, doing things like killing puppets (right now is risky and not worth with horde system), joining events, increasing your skills....etc. You lose it by dying
Good luck, you will need it
