So, I've always supported the concept of reverse disassembly and fixed packaging. It's just that the game currently has no plans in this direction.
At least as far as the obvious ones are concerned. For example, if you have 2 2/20 lead plates in crafting and need 4 to craft them, the crafting system will combine both, even if you cannot combine or stack them. Since the crafting rework, leftovers can also be used if a single unit is missing somewhere but is present in a leftover.
This is because a feature of this kind requires inventory rework which is currently in progress.
99% of our inventory bugs and QOL additions to inventory itself require inventory rework.
There is currently only Drag and Drop aviable.
