Resulution
Hello, I have a question? I bought a WQHD monitor and swapped my AMD GK for an Nvidia card. I currently have an RTX 2060 installed in my system, which will be exchanged for an RTX 4070 at a later date. now I wanted to change the resolution from 1920x1080 to 2160x1440. But I noticed that in borderless mode you only have a resolution of 3840x2160, my question? Can't you change the resolution in borderless mode?

Yes and no.

It is actually Borderless Fullscreen Window which always defaults to native screen resolution of your monitor/TV (+- some quirks with DPI scaling and mixed desktop/screen res).

If the resolution is not correct and you see image warped (incorrect aspect ratio) or you cannot access menu elements (cursor shifted) or if your window is oversized (clips beyond borders of your screen), remove GameUserSettings.ini and Engine.ini files from %LOCALAPPDATA%\SCUM\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

aha, that's it, thanks for the info. So far the resolution in the game is good. I was just wondering why I couldn't change the resolution in borderless mode, now I know more.

Yea it's just the default Unreal Engine behaviour.

I remember that noe former graphics programmer at NWI did alter it on Insurgency Sandstorm so you could resize the window by changing the screen res (just like it worked on Source engine).

But usually you can try to force it though config file though I'm not sure how it'll behave.

I'll leave it as it is now. because with this setting the game runs well.
