But I heard that 1.0v is not a finished product and will probably continue to be developed in Early Access.
The source of the story is an online article.
There is no ETA Aviable. We just recently arrived at 0.95v.
It's clear 1.0 isn't the end of all things and surely (hopefully) they'll continue to work on it though, but still.
The article about not knowing if 1.0 will be the production version was in Japanese, but I can't find it.
I am looking for it now.

Actually, I don't see a 1.0 release mid summer or even earlier. I can't imagine the game passing Microsoft quality control for a release on Xbox in it's current state and I also don't think much will be added, fixed and finished within just a few months. But we'll see.
Japanese isn't an issue anymore these days. ;)
There was an article around November last year that said the XBOX version would be released at the same time as the 1.0v release, and at this point the 1.0v would be the production version.
The article in December of last year or January of this year was toned down to say that they were not sure if 1.0v would be the production version.

I would like to state my opinion.
I don't care if 1.0v is not the production version.
The 1.0 number is a guide.
Whether the version is 0.95, 1.0, or 1.5, each version does not change my enjoyment of SCUM.
The same is true for Palworld.
It is very likely that SCUM will release the XBOX version in Early Access as well.
I'm talking a pass through Microsoft quality control.
In case you're not aware, Microsoft and also Sony require games to fufil a certain quality standard.
But really.
As long as they continue to work on the project, as long as theres a high frequency of meaningfull updates that each bring something to the table, then its all good.
With this in mind
and a peep at how much content RUST have had added after launch, then I absolutely dont care what devs call their game from pre-alpha to "platinum edition" with all DLCs included.
>At this point in time, then its just names.
And its near impossible to tell where a game ends its actual dev-time..
