Pvp ideal

I love this game but I feel like the pvp is really lacking even on the heavy pvp servers often times I find myself wishing to be killed just so I can loose some gear to make space and I rarely see anyone to face even if I camp a pvp heavy zone.


So this is a ideal I had and it involves the event system being reworked. Instead of the events being risk free death matches with no reward let's have them be extraction shooter style events where a handful of players set up their own gear sets and are spawn inside a zone with a set of goals to complete for big rewards. You can loot other players and be looted so pvp stakes are high. These events should either be admin controlled or time events that pop off throughout the day.

you might have bought the wrong game.
scum is PVP OPTIONAL and SECONDARY to survival

god no just go play tarkov or rust if you want fast pace looty shooty player pvp survival
this game isnt pvp first =|

YOU CAN PVP
but that dosnt mean you will be able to have all the action you want
pvp is situational
and SHOULD NEVER be a 100% guarantee

pvp servers are more what your looking for IF your die hard trying on here
but its a losing battle untill
"custom modded servers" that CHANGE the base game
right now ALL private servers ONLY can change settings no real "custom content" to be had so no "custom game modes" can be made

im all for private servers doing what ever they want and allowing them to make custom modes or what ever
but dont ask the base game to be changed to fit what other games do better
if you want an extraction shooter or pvp heavy theres tarkov and rust for that need to shoot things

You get coins for joining the discord then you order your gear delivered to you!

Then you go and get killed and do it all over again non stop!

I think its a great ideal and if you do not like it guess what, its totally optional for you as well but the pvp crowd are dropping like flies because its a struggle to find joy for them. It really sucks getting fully geared and waiting hours and hours in hope to find some content only to give up and log. All my sessions have ended with me just permanently logging becuase I have everything I need and nothing at the same time. Boxes full of guns and armor and nothing to use them on especially now with the ai change and on high pop servers these puppets rarely even spawn. You literally walk forever and do nothing.

When I say extraction I mean in terms of spawning players in a area to face each other as right now its hard to find roaming squads on such a big empty map. Again this is totally optional game content and not at all necessary for you to keep having your ideal of fun.

Played them and they are slog fest to with lackluster player pvp. You rarely see anyone ever it might as well be a pve game

It um... Oh god, How to say this... It is a {Barf} It is a PVE game. Notice the OPTIONAL PVP. It's not the main part of the game, Never was, Never was going to be. PVP was the first thing added because it gave the least amount of work for the most amount of content until they could add the rest of the content.

Actually it does not state both are optional even the "gag" the survival elements can be ignore based on the Wikipedia description of the game.

I be fine if the pve was good but its not and the survival is in deph...till you look closer and realize its still needs more work. You know one you said rust be better for me and rust has bad pve. You know how it cover it up? Having a good damn pvp side! You don't need have a huge complex pve system if you have a good pvp system to push players to tackle! However a game like conan exiles which marks itself as a good pvp game sucks as a pvp game but makes it up for having a great pve aspect and tons of pve to dig through.

Scum has none of that going and is already straining itself to keep its current pve content functioning. I am not saying reinvent the wheel and change the game but offer more pvp content for us that wish to take part in it is that so wrong?

It is not designed to be A PVP GAME FIRST

You don't need have a huge complex pve system if you have a good pvp system to push players to tackle!

It is being designed to be a pve game, vitamins, minerals, cooking, fishing, farming!

Not a pvp game!

Yeah which means I can offer my own suggestions and I am a pvp player and thats wrong I killed more than 1 player but you can still count it all on one hand I assure you. The pvp aspect is lacking and its something I would like to suggest receiving some love and if thats wrong to ask for then I clearly put 300 hours in the wrong place

Well fine I will but I love pve to and rather not be seen as a pvper I like options
