this whole comment reads as "it's not something i want so i dont want others to have it." you should consider working on this mentality.
Also, you should know most controllers remap easily and much of the time automatically. having a china knockoff DS4 hasnt stopped me in any way and ive had only the mildest inconvenience of needing DS4Windows to translate for games that only recognize Xbox controllers. its really a simple thing to map a standard controller, you got shoulder buttons, face butons, directionals and auxilary buttons (start/options, options/share ect) so really the work would be in configuring the menus and systems to be friendly to that interface rather than a mouse cursor.
any eta on when that might be implemented? please also add xbox and ps4/ ps5 duelsense native so we dont have to use a program to use the sony controller. dont need haptics and trigger feedback on the duelsense just native support would be good enough
