Strength Training
In the official videos the devs show stuff like weight sets... are they in-game? ...Or do I just need to fill a pack with rocks and go for a jog?

Hiking backpack - add a log and whatever else to to max out its weight limit (60kg) and fill your pockets with stuff.
I also carry a log too and do a couple of laps of a building.

It can take a while but note that it does not allow you to carry more weight as you are still limited by the container (bag, quiver etc...) .

I presume you do more damage with melee weapons though (not read anything to confirm this)

Gyms aren't present in the game. I've seen people wear heavy clothing with two chainsaw on their back and push a wheelbarrow full of logs. They keep running in circle to level, don't know if it's the best way to level strenght.

Hi there!
Unfortunately, operational gyms never made it in (so far at least). To raise STR, you ought to do actions under a heavy load. Do be careful about your energy levels though, the more practice you put in, the more you need to eat and drink!

ähmm yeah well so will they still come (its not like you teaserd them years ago) because if not you should start changeing how we can lvl up our main skills the time it takes to lvl them is Ridiculous

The way STR increases so dynamically with actions...yet so slow is puzzling. There should be something that increases your STR much easier than what's currently implemented for those who don't have 12+ hours a day to sit there and spin a wheelbarrow. Steroids? Why not put in a bench press with an idle animation just like every other action in the game?

Just providing frustrations and feedback at the same time.

Then the bike came and it was interesting, a 5x5 with city bike allowed to train up to +0.38400 strenght and +1.08 con / day, while training running & endurance at the same time.
Unfortunately, they removed the running skill training on it so it's kinda very worst since running skill directly affect stamina consumption for these activities....
Now you need both wheelbarr/bicycle and light clothed continuous sprinting to improve... it's gotten tedious.

Unfortunately the only gym like impact that you can get is spinning a wheelbarrow full of logs. But it really depends if you have exhaustion enabled on a server or not. Cause you also need to recover after being tired.
But this is not fun. Do it only if you really need these extra stats and while afk. Otherwise it's not worth the time.
