I cant lockpick either, need apparently a mechanical keyboard.
Police lockers/cargo drops etc are super easy, then the next tier up is violently more difficult. lol
I can only recommend that you use the practice equipment to get better at the “mini-games” like lock picking. No resources are used here and you can always improve your skills with them.
I struggled with the more difficult locks myself, but didn't want to give up and the training device worked wonders.
With time comes the ability and that not only takes you further with the lockers but also a lot further in general. :)
no seriously is this intential change since the patch?
because it wasn´t that way before the patch and i think there was also a reason why they removed the locks on them.
This game forces you to pick specific skills at the very beginning: Thievery, Running, Medical and Melee. Thievery and Medical are advancing abnormally slow and if you didn't pick them at the character creation then you're screwed. I would strongly recommend to reroll your character if you didn't.
As Deathwhisper mentioned, you have to practice to save some resources and be able to unlock stuff efficiently.
Also, you must learn a specific technique, called feathering. It's the only way to lockpick silver and gold locks successfully. Search on YouTube for "scum feathering" and you'll find decent tutorials there.
it seems only c2 bunker is affected
at least B2 is normal 10 second lock like in police stations
if iam informed correctly all lockers that contain the radioactive suit did not have any of these locks , rusty, silver, gold
thank you for the Additional Information. :)
ok i correct that
usualy the tended to have rusty locks but still 10 seconds and they actualy can be picked
so the c2 bunker seems to have iron locks not silver. stil unusal for me as i never encountered such a locker wich something other than a rusty lock.
btw the lockpicking board is buggy i only have 4 seconds on every lock (basic, medium, advanced) there so traninig it is painfull
probably got confused because of the lockpicking board as there the locks are named differently for some weird reason.
again the lockpicking board is a buggy mess and does not help in improving unless you may invest several hundreds of hours thats insane.
every lock you only have 4 seconds on the lockpicking board there is nothing to gain from "training" besides pure frustration.
Take your time. In the first moments it can be overwhelming but do it here and there sometimes. It took myself a while but there will be a point where things will be more easy. :)
i already thought about this for hours and the conclusion is still the same no matter how long i practice i cannot gain more skill as there is simply not enough feedback while lockpicking its just pure luck unless you master all the tiny spots a lock can have wich is insane
and again the lockpicking board is bugged does not make any sense that regarldess of basic, medium, advandec i only have 4 seconds.
Board is not bugged, you always get 4 seconds for rusty silver and gold lock, locks that got placed by player (thievery advanced) on (advanced plus 1000000/1000000 skill) you get almost 5 seconds. Rusty and silver lock have a lot bigger sweet spot than gold lock.
