Surviving Way Too Easy

I play on High Loot Server and honestly all I see is NAKED PLAYERS WITH GUNS. No one wears any shoes to have low sound profile. They just have an AK with one clip and thats it. I think there should be some incentive to wear clothes, shoes, and equipment.

Helmets+Armor do almost 0 protection. You still die from one shot from Sniper or AK high caliber rounds. Armor only helps with 9mm or 22 cal

Players just run around naked in the snow without any reason not to. There is no foot infections or freezing from cold.

No one wants to fight with high quality gear, because it offers no protection and even makes you louder. They run around naked, because if they die = means losing nothing to enemy.

Now I just run around in camo clothes with no armor. There is no point in wearing helmet. Zombies still do massive damage even though I am wearing good armor.

Will clothes be more effective in the full release? Heavy clothing (in real life) also helps reduce damage from arrows, stabbing, and even low powered ammunitions.

P.S.
Choosing a black character is the only viable PvP option as well. During the night, white characters stand out like the sun. Every server is only black characters to help camoflauge during the night!

"That's not the point bro. High loot doesn't mean anything in survival if they are not picking any clothes up.

It's the same exact meta mechanics low loot or high loot. Low loot you still go to bunker naked and grab gun and thats it. Doesn't change anything if its high loot. Survival is easy in both."

Just don't play on high loot then?!?
High loot servers are private servers and each private server is the way the admins want it to be. If you don't like the server search for a better one. Official servers are much harder then high loot but there are also hardcore private servers.

There is a lot to go throu. I grabbed the most obvious one and let others discuss the rest :P

kid im sorry but "High Loot Servers" dossent afford mutch of survival aspects. Try normal servers or hardcore.

all is like real life kid. Black=darker=better hide in dark. Whats the problem with that?

And NO there not easy to find weapons in bunkers like in high loot servers. And mechs doses more damagde aswell.
Beside that, ppl in hardcore servers use to camp outside bunkers so if you say its easy to survive try another game and have a nice day.

And when was the last time u froze to death ?

For that matter any here ever starved ? It's nearly impossible to die from in game even on the lowest loot settings( I play on low loot , night kingdoms & others ) . Takes forever and you have to intentionally avoid food ; which is everywhere .

Agree with op , games currently a walk in the park on any settings ; maybe the metabolism re-work will help but I still forsee a abundance of everything .

Agreed, there is no challenge at all other than pvp.

It may be interesting for a beginner, because there is an amazing map to explore and gunhandling as well as the sounds are just incredible, but there is not really a game behind it yet.

I also hope for the metabolism update + cooking + medicine. I hope it becomes much more difficult to survive and to stay healthy.

Excuse my ignorance but an AK with one clip would give a few kills, what happens then? Is it really possible to feel so assured that you will find more ammo every time your clip is empty?

This is not Diablo 3, I do not rely on armour to survive. Real life soldiers might wear a little armour but it can get in the way and slow them down as it would me. I wear clothes because it gives me somewhere to put things, that is about all.

If you are asking for more of a survival challenge against cold, illnesses, etc that is coming very soon.

Puppets (zombies) do less damage if you are wearing armour. That is not an opinion but has been said here by the Devs.

Does your server have increased damage from puppets? Mostly they do not do massive amounts of damage.

Sry but funny how u dont get OPs point which was ...

Protective gear is useless and has more disadvantages than advantages.
Its not protecting you from most of the guns or Zombies and you dont need clothes against cold temperature or similar.

Has nothing to do with High Loot server or not ^^


Not even starting with stuff like Metabolism, Diseases, NPCs and so on and so on which are missing for a proper survival game ;-)

son armor protect alot. test get shooted from a friend without and with;) Without i get like 45 dmg in chest from m16 and with armor-west i got 19 dmg.
