Still no Dedicated Server Hosting from our pc.

My friend and mine want to play this PVE on our own personal machine there are 3 of us and we have been waiting a long time and still no Self Server Hosting. or Co-op mode.

Hello :),

As the developers have consistently said, the server files will only be looked at after 1.0 has been reached. The main and complete focus is primarily on the development of the game.

And don't forget there's a 10-year backlog of reported bugs that they need to fix before they let us host the game ourselves.

e.g. looking at you - inability to eat or drink due to the right-click commands are greyed out.

If you cant eat and drink it is most likely because you wear a face mask or another mouth covering items. Take it off and you can drink and eat.

Yeah the eating thing i thought was a bug too back in the day low and behold i was just wearing a medical mask lol.

I am assuming its because G-portal shares a % of its sales with the developers who use them as a service and that money goes to funding development which is why only after post 1.0 which seems like a reasonable reason.

There is no sharing between Gamepires and G-Portal.

There are 5 different provider companies providing server service to the scum community.

NONE NOT ONE give anything back to Gamepires!

The devs do not want THEIR CODE of the game to be released to the general public atm and that is WHY!

just cause 1.0 hit wont mean we wil get the files.
they still might not be ready to drop them but i would guess they wouldnt wait too long

I don't even care about files. i just want to host a co-op game with 4 friend w/o paying money as i am disabled and cannot afford expenses like servers. we have been server hopping to empty lobbies but the latest bug prevent him from joining due to his graphics driver being blocked by easy anti cheat. not sure if its been fixed since yesterdays the update that happened on the 11th or today's update. will look into this.

Now there a 5, but they had a contract with G- Portal and because of this contract they didn't release the Dedicated Server Files for us. Now they say it will not be released before 1.0

So what is the excuse after 1.0 hit?

We are waiting now for 5 years to host on our own!

I also don't see the point to pay for only one game server more than i pay for my the root server i have which can hold up to 6 game servers at a time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And for the record G-Portal aswell as Nitrado are the worst Game Hosting sites here in Germany (and the only one). I will never ever buy a server from them again!
Because of them i bought a Root-Server 11 years ago and never had an issue like on this sites. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There is a big difference between rights to use and Contract.
