Cooking chicken drumsticks?

So I cooked chicken meat on the skewer, but one cannot place drumsticks on the skewer,

If I physically place the drumstick in the fire, will it cook?

I got it up to "toasty" checking taste

I had to make a improvised grill, then put the drumsticks on the grill. The problem is I could not get enough heat, so I made two other fires right next to the one I had the grill on. And even with 3 fires going full blast, I still cant get these stupid drumsticks to cook. It goes toasty, hot, very hot, then it just stays on very hot forever and never gets fully cooked. Devs please fix this, it should not be so hard to cook drumsticks lol.

Short answer no you can't cook them that way, yes I agree its stupid.

You need the BBQ (I think its called) recipe book to be able to cook them and learn the recipe.

I had the BBQ book in my inventory but I didnt see a way to actually use the book, how can I actually use the book?
