please remove beeper from radius spawn. I like the new mechanic, it works well. But those should be kept to a constant location spawn, not a player radius spawn

server i play them & mechs r turned off, new horde settings have been tweaked in our favor, opening doors is OFF, windows is ON but I havent seen them come thru one yet., an zombs damage turned down., FP's are x10, an u get 340fp to start.
u still get quite a few an ripped to shreds/use alot o ammo.

Ive had to abandon my "travel light" method of making ammo, an just a 9mil an a cleaver.
now I got a mp5k i need the 30 round mags to keep up get thru a town or bunker. just do now.

an I BUY 9mm AP from a trader, ($754/box this server), normal rounds just dont cut it, it's like theres such a mountain of code raining down with hordes your actions and shots are either delayed or ignored.. i donno which but its 4-5 rounds each pretty much. now if Im holed up in a structure i can one-shot them in head as they growl at a window. but theres so many-- again, A Lot o Ammo.

as said in previous posts, 20/30 from you may be right on top of team mate. it cant really work like that, to account for every player and spawn it 30 mtr from all is a lot of calculations, sure, it could be done but the other thing is the sprinting/jumping players 30 mtrs? the engine calculates all players positions and spawns one in in less than a second.. but you sprinting/jumping buddy is still gonna run straight into it.

I don't play like that, so your suggestion is viable. Others though... but for me, they should remain a constant not a dynamic spawn. IF the devs can make then a dynamic spawn with factoring all player locations in that cell and putting it at a certain distance, then yes. but it seems like that would require extra unneeded work atm.

hmm, nah that sounds toooo easy. We always needed some threat other than other players. So far the new things are mostly working well. I'd rather use stealth and if triggering a hoard, use one shot to distract them and then run to break line of sight.

They only spawn in towns/POI so find a fall back point first just in case. On top of a roof of up a ladder. Carry a bow and take out as many as you can with that before using ammo.

Well, thats official. if you are burning thru ammo that is 700$ a box I guess you put in a lot of hours already since wipe or had saved up gold. I've played not much at all. I don't even think I have 10 fp yet.. few hours on saturday, then maybe 1 hour sunday.

yes, i saved up 60k gold, and I'll let this rest since were way off topic.. Beepers, I shouldn't have even said anything more than they're turned off where I play.
that should tell u how I (and many i know) feel about them.

Do not remove the beeper. Just raise the spawn radius.

Problem is mostly inside AB where you can't outrun them nor shoot at them.
I opened a door with 2 beepers in front of me, and they weren't there (no sound) before triggering the door.

Remove the suicide from the horde spawns. They do not belong next to you in a police station, on top of the house next to you, or in the same house with you when they spawn.

You have no chance to not get hit when they spawn in the same house as you are!

I disabled suicide puppets in my server because they are very broken. When you hear their sound, it is because they are extremely close and explodes on sight.

i had a beeper spawn close, then he ran true the bars and up the stairs and boom, 50 fame point lost.. compared to the how fast you gain fp, this is crazy

To be honest, they ruined the game a bit for me because you're always forced to run around with bows because of them. You can't do a pure melee build in the game.

In the game you are more or less forced to always use the bow and kill the puppets quietly with one shot if possible, since anything else could trigger a horde.

Not a good system in my opinion.
