Chinese servers making it pay to win

I feel like there's a massive problem growing, I've just seen 4 or 5 servers die , and then one I was playing was a pay to win server
"scum in the abyss AU"

which is actually a Chinese server, has recently gotten lots of population from around the world, I had been playing for a few weeks and ended up becoming quite close friends with the Owner of the server. I donated around $80 USD to the server in 3 weeks, thinking I would become a regular of this server. Little did i know some of the worst nights in humanity I think i've had, I was told to speak Chinese or i wasn't welcome, As I tried to typed Chinese the locals from the safezone were just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it

I had a glitch out infront of my base where the admin drove my car, and I had been asking her for the day if they could move it, no problems I'll wait til the end of the night.

4 hours later they announced "Goodnight" to the server, so I quickly asked whether it was a good time to move the glitched car because they forgot, I was very very busy on a mission and could not afford even a couple of minutes of time, but knowing how busy the admin is, well, before I knew It I was teleported from my Metal Chest in Torpedo filled with 9 - 10 different explosives.

And I then had to wait another 5 minutes for the admin as they were AFK
It took another 10 minutes to park the car as I wanted it hidded for security, I just literally left it down the road and quickly asked to be teleported back to torpedo...

Another 5 minutes went by

I'm teleported 'near my car' in torpedo, I'm for some reason teleported with a 5 minute walk from torpedo base. I quickly sprint back and check my Loot stashs

They are gone

I check my Car

It's gone

I spent the next 6 hours looking for the car, obviously it had been stolen right?
Not a problem, only thing is I had a combination (dial) lock on the Car and 4 or 5 chests,

Because I was teleported out... I lost alot of my pay to win money because of this, the only reason I'm playing pay to win is because I don't have alot of time to grind every single day with very poor health.

I feel really hard done by these admins, second time I've copped a ban from a server with (!) admin and this time I definitely know it was a set up and the people the admin are helping are very very suspicious players.

I just don't know where to go or what to do anymore, Soon as i spoke up about the issue I was told "don't park your car in busy areas" Ofcourse, But I was gaurding my car and had no time to sort the issue out, making it just a nightmare

Can anyone nice shed some light on this for me, these admins have wayy to much power.
I'm taking a massive break after 400 hours, I didn't have a good time on this game at all, which is very weird because I' absolutely love survival games

Is pay to win and greed and racism ruining a potentially beautiful game? I actually think the admins for private servers need some sort of required license of trust or complete atleast a police check

this isnt the ccp... where you can use the system then get mad the system bit you...

a private server can do what they want
BUT
they cannot "charge""real world money" for ingame items...

and you said you bought 80$ worth due to no time to grind.. then once you found out you got a crappy P2W server you are only now reporting it...

i say thats what you get... no place for p2w anywhere

Hello,

The important things first. "Pay to Win" is contrary to the EULA regulations. Purchasing a benefit through money is against the terms of the EULA and may result in loss of license to play the game.

As far as private servers are concerned, they are responsible for their actions (in the spirit of the EULA, of course.) This means how the administrators act, what rules they set up, etc. is entirely up to the administrators. Private servers do not act on behalf of the developers or the game as intended, but rather on their own responsibility.

If you don't feel very comfortable on one server, you should definitely look into joining another one. The official servers are of course freely accessible to everyone and are designed to be fair; everyone is welcome to join the game here.

Please report corrupt or EULA-violating behavior immediately and discreetly to the developers via SCUM Support[support.scumgame.com]!

how does ptw work in scum, do you win a no prize, what is that worth, scum does not have any win options right now, maybe later on that might change but right now it has none, as long as players are free to make chooses i don`t understand what the problem is, after all i join different servers, leave servers and go back later on all the time, i reroll characters all the time and my character in game has died more times in game than everyone else combined who plays this game, my character does die a lot on multiplayer, i am not a good player but i do know how to play, at my age my speed and reactions will only get slower as time moves on, i don`t get what the op hopes to get since ptw servers are not supported and rightly so, but they should also not be banned either, as long as players know the risks and accept them it should be a choice.

It works like this

spend 300 hours and as much of your free time as possible on a server, leave because it's hopelessly toxic and just not a good community or anything nice about it
Find another community - Get Rauted and lose your money, I say it was worth getting banned from the private server just to tell them some truth

Looks like they violated EULA and will be looked into, Also If i get banned so be it

ATM there are 6987 Servers Only 90-100 are official and only 6 of the top 100 servers are official

So you are obviously wrong! There would not be that many successful private servers if the Admins were as you say they are.

You can't say that across the board. There are many servers out there that have a very nice and pleasant environment, and I also know of two servers in which administrators even consciously forego command authority.

You also have to make sure you find a server that you like and where you get along well with the community.

yes but its known if you want no dramas / toxic / bad admin bs you generally stay away from these communitys . I learned when i got sniped at air drop in forest by the admin , and few other bad experiences , now theres only few servers ill go on that aren't official when i play.

Attention everybody, no need to argue. The matter is being dealt with, I wont be going anywhere near chinese stuff again, and I really hope the admin gets in trouble because clearly they can't run a server and are doing it for the $$$ I seen they just took AU out of their name

I'm taking a month or two break from the game, (I need it) and then will be looking forward to a slower more natural game in Official Australia, Thankyou.

I personally think the first red flag should have been when you got told to pay money and then subsequently told to speak Mandarin.

I have noticed certain language and comments used on Australian Official PvE and PvP sometimes... Google translate does a masterful job at translating foreign text; and its been getting better.....
