Permadeath is a consequence of too many deaths and too high a negative number on the account balance (-2500 on vanilla setting).
Under all circumstances, it is not advisable to respawn suicide to start in a similar sector because the consequences are huge in terms of permadeath alone.
Even if it sometimes seems like a huge journey, it doesn't take that long to reach the goal. Mark a midpoint between your positions so that you can meet there, so not only are you halfway there, but it usually works very well without having to accept too much loss. Caution and survival should always be kept in mind. If you plan well in advance and have a good route, the quicker everything will work out in the end. :)
Loot:
There isn't much loot if you use the vanilla settings. This is actually intentional because, like respawning and life on the island, the theme is survival. However, what you can find and what you can use anyway to have a certain arsenal is there in abundance. Stock up on bows, melee weapons, a basic shelter or other things at your leisure. After initial arming, police stations and villages as well as cities offer the opportunity to stock up on the essentials, be it clothing or other supplies.
Once you've set yourself up enough, you can think bigger and, for example, choose the bunkers as a target in order to get hold of a few useful things if necessary.
If you have manifested yourself well, even the abandoned bunkers are an attraction that you can try, although they are one of the biggest rides on the island at the moment.
Take your time establishing yourself on the island and build a solid foundation, from then on it will be a lot easier.
It need quiet some time before Permadeath takes place. So Just meeting with each other is the most simple way anyway since you can just start playing already and on the way to your mates aquire already some basic gear making progress at all easyer.
You need to have the cash on your Bank account, if you die and select random respawn it will cost 250* cash, Sector Respawn is already way more expensive with 1000* Cash while Spawn at your Bed is by default 1G (Means 1 unit of Gold).
* Do note, Values shown here are Default settings and can vary on Private Servers.
If you reach a certai nnegative amount of cash on your account permadeath will take place and you have to recreate the character. On Default it is -2500 as mentioned above.
It seems they've made the new bunkers the new go-to.
If you're starting fresh dont bother with the armories yet. Get a bag full of meds, and alternators and your laughing.
Careful in Ray's bunkers, he's got them set touchy.
Good luck 👍
Fame is now tied to traders, you need higher fame for buying better items.
5 fame i think for access to food, 30 for clothing, hundreds for guns.
You get 1 fame for being in game every 20 mins. There are additional ways to gain fame, crafting bullets, bow head shot kills at about 150+ meters, my personal favorite is crafting gold locks for 2 fame (15 padlocks and toolbox needs adv engineering)
Getting cash into your account, you're supposed to be able to use the ATM to deposit cold hard cash from your inventory, but never worked for me any time I tried it. At trader, you can deposit inventory cash to your bank account, but the bank steals a bit (2% i think).
When using trader buy/sell there is a check box for choosing to use bank account or cash.
Buy with cash, sell to bank account, save that 2% for yourself.
What to sell, well, the list is long, anything you can find if low loot settings. Some things are more profitable than others.
NVGs, Ghillie Suits (pink in particular), Explosives, BMG rounds, Dao Sword/Katana, Motor Vehicles, Guns, BCU locks, to name a few, also medical gear can turn a reasonable profit and is light weight.
On normal servers the new Abandoned Bunkers final loot room is where all the loot is currently.
Cheats are against the Rules while Sector spawn is a ability given from the game.(It can even be disabled in ServerSettings if you do not like it.) This is by no means a good comparison.
Please, when you talk about the game you don't need to link to private servers. There is a standard - these are the settings of the official server. And we need to discuss the game based on these settings. (you can't turn anything off there)
