It does not matter how much or Less the fuse regulates, they will deplete within the same time.
Fuses do not work like real fuses. In game they provide time, In increments of 4 mins per 200 amps, in addition to the amperage of the fuse determining how many sectors can be powered at same time, up to the value of the fuse.
If a fuse is in the fuseboard, powering ANY sector starts the time. Powering off all sectors, pauses the timer.
A 600amp in B1, you can power A, B and C. Then when you get to the sliding door for the stairwell to B2, you can switch A,B and C off, head down to B2, do what you need to down there, then repower A,B and C on B1 for your escape. If any sector (on that floor) remains powered, fuse timer will continue to deplete.
Also note that fuse durability plays a role. Diagram on fuseboard shows a 1000amp fuse will last 20 mins. What it doesn't say is this is ONLY true if your fuse is at 100% durability. Lower durability, means a lower time. Likely a direct percentage of the fuses max time.
