Where can I find wheels for bikes and cars?

I am new to this game and trying to get a good grasp of how it works.

So I found a mountain bike without wheels. I've never seen wheels in loot. Where can I find them?

I also saw a few cars, with no wheels, and some doors were missing as well. I've found a thingy that lifts the cars to change tyres but again, where on earth can I find tyres?

If I find and attach all tyres somehow, will it be driveable or do I need to find all doors and seats to drive?

Garages and auto workshops generally have the tires, both bike and car. Occasionally I'll find one in the workshop room on the back side of hotels.

There are two types of bike tire, one for each bike. It's the same for the cars.

You need at least 3 tires, an engine, a battery, gas, and a drivers seat to drive the cars. The rest you can put on later. With 4 tires on a car you can push it slowly.

One more thing I noticed is that the gas station does not allow me to fill an empty bottle with gas. It says I need a card. So I cannot just steal some gas, I need money. And to get some money, I need to go to one of the traders. Is that correct?

So my first trip there should be on my two legs.

Check the Yunkyard in B0, search the stack tires. You'll find a lot of all types of tires.

That's the easiest way. Once you sell some things to a trader you can stop by the bank and deposit the money on your card.

You can also find partially filled gas cans in the same garages and repair stops and at the gas stations. They don't contain much, however. If you get lucky in a larger town you can find more than one and combine them.

If you find some cash you can also deposit it at an ATM in some locations (usually the small stores and some police stations).

Funny thing. I wanted to take that mountain bike frame and move it to a safe place. But the game shows it’s 100 kg! That’s a massive frame I would say!

From your experience, is it worth searching 2 bike wheels or I have more chances to find a ready-to-ride bike with both wheels? Do they spawn fully assembled at all? I play on a very low pop vanilla server.

The complete bikes are somewhat rare, but they do spawn. I wouldn't hope for that, though. If you find a wheel I'd either take it with you or build a chest to put it in and bury the chest somewhere hidden while you look for the other.

And yes, 100 kg is rather heavy. I just assume it's heavy duty all-steel construction for battle situations. XD

If you go to the Junkyard tire piles, you'd better have a way to carry several tires to where ever you need to haul them. You will find 2 to 3 tires of each vehicle type.

with garages what i often do is check them once and then after checking all garages in a town is then go to the next town and check them, i usually make sure 20 or 30 minutes have past then i go back to the town i just checked and usually i find 1 or 2 wheels in those garages, and the same with the other town as long as you leave enough time between visits.
