game getting boring again
i hoping they are not just focusing on bunkers! most people don't even go to bunkers, or nuke city. we need a roaming threat. Like bans of AI Squad, Police station and other POI with arm guards. helicopter gun ships that roam the sky. patrol boats. people will give up if they get bored!

animals before bear, wolfs, board you would encounter them.

even if we get airplanes and more cars, ETC it would still get boring.

That is because the gameplay loop is fundamentally flawed and the map is too big without enough player interactions or need for players to interact.

The game is extremely tedious to the point of not being fun anymore. Do not confuse this with difficulty. Its TEDIOUS. Whenever i decide to play, i get to a point where i go "I dont want to do this, I can play this other game and have fun right away without having to do these parts that are extremely boring".

So i go do that. I play something else. I have a hard time believing scum will become fun again.

I do agree that there needs to be some roving bands of AI bandits / TEC prison guards / 'gaol breakers' would add some exciting flavour.

Given how the spawner entity works, the Ai bands would need to spawn a lot further away than how the puppet spawn works. 50m it just too close for AI's with guns.

The AI squads spawner would need to be looked at / fleshed out. maybe it could be similar to how the air drops work. A low flying heavy airlift plane is heard, in the case of a TEC prison guard insertion -be it they hot drop on a player after being spotted, or the plane lands at one of the airfields and then proceed on a patrol route in vehicles.

Maybe even a helicopter insertion -the helo doesn't land though, the grunts simply fast rope out the sides

Maybe even a maritime insertion via a RHIB on a beach and then after they land, they proceed on a foot patrol.

A RHIB landing would require the Devs to build a RHIB asset and then integrate that into the modular vehicles etc...

maybe air drops are protected by TEC mechs?

Maybe TEC prison guards are doing a snatch -they target the player who is currently online, with the highest fame points; and depending on how much fame points depends on how tooled up and how many assets are thrown at them -eg a squad of 10 guards with a mech, or maybe an armoured vehicle, a mech and two squads.. etc

Gaol breakers are basically NPC's who are lefties and don't believe in TEC9 and their nefarious ways of battle royale prisoners and so these political activists enter the arena somewhere and offer resources in trade -basically, wandering vendors but they have a timer before being either taken out by a TEC prison guard squad or satellite strike/air crate drops on them.

I have lots of ideas about this but it basically comes down to how the game spawner entity works and if the devs can figure out a way in which they can make the server meshing work to allow entities spawn away from a player tether.

**edit: and of course, bring back random animal encounters... mostly the bear encounters... scary as all f if all you got is a stone axe or spear... I loved those... scared the be-jebus out of me... that distinctive moan and then the distinctive challenge before it charges at you....... run!!!!

Hmm you mean stupid NPCs roaming the city like slow moving zombies that you can shoot from 100mt with a handgun or a bow?

Or deadly NPCs with developed AI, stronger than razors, that seeks shelter when under fire, that chase you by opening doors and vaulting windows, hiding in dark spots, gathering to ambush you, etc. ?

Adding new enemies itself will still leave a boring game. There needs to be actually directed gameplay and a reason for doing things, something to actually build up towards. Scum has taken the "make your own adventure" too far which leaves basically no directed gameplay nor reason to really do much at all.

i`m bored of puppets who do nothing but attack players on sight, i wanna see them do something different like dance instead, or maybe just attack in a different way, melee should be more than just press a button and you randomly punch or kick without control over which option happens, many times i just wanna punch a puppet but because the game chooses and not me, my character tries to kick or just hits the ground and misses, and my character then usually gets hit, i find reading comments more fun right now than playing scum.

maybe cho0se to play call of duty to avoid the entire surivial and crafting part that is so boring?
