So you snuck in vehicle damage??
That´s my Laica being at 62% after one day driving reckless as usual! ;b
I´m singleplayer, so nothing but using the car could´ve damaged it.
She was at 100% when I started today...

Have you shot out the front window at puppets?
I found this is how it gets damaged.
Still testing the side windows, it seems at this stage, no damage when shooting through them, the door windows.

You legend! I sure did! Normal behavior whenever it's refueling time right? ;D
Ok, that explains it! Thank you ;)

Then I don't need to explain anymore xD. Too bad about the picture.

Joking aside, this can happen in 2 ways, firstly, as Mason says, by being shot at from the inside. The bodywork is damaged here.
But it can also happen due to external fire or ricochets. For example, the day before yesterday I almost shot a tire because of the ricochets.

Why thank you DW! :)
Guess I gotta be less reckless then.
Again, learned something today ;b

Impact damage to vehicles is still disabled.
But you can damage the base vehicle, doors, hood, trunk lid and tires by shooting (from the inside or the outside).

Yup, I just learned that. ;b thx

FYI, be careful when shooting through the door windows from the inside.
This damages the door, but there is no visible damage indicator.
Once a certain damage level is reached, the door will just disappear.

I see that vehicles take damages even if we don't use them, like the discharging battery and other. Maybe it helped to damage it more fast?

I have the car running for a couple o days now, only today started with drive by shooting and noticed some damage.
She was fine @ 100% the last few days. The battery starts to discharge if you don't use it, right.
Although that's something that can be toggled in the settings. I just left in on. ;)

Vehicles and vehicle parts also take damage from explosives, grenades, mines, rockets and boomers. Can happen from quiet some distance, so make sure things dont go off near your vehicle.

Yeah, that I know. I did a lot of testing with a lot of things that go boom on cars ;b
I just didn't know about damage from shooting out of the thing. ;)
