Watering Gardens
In real life you don't just tip a watering can in one place and empty it, plus it would have some form of a spraying system on it to cover a wider area, running back and fourth to a well with a blue bottle, rinse and repeat is stupid until the well is empty, only to pour it on one square in the garden plot at a time, this needs putting right.

I also have a question that I have asked many players that cannot give a straight answer to it, when it rains, will it also water the whole garden plot?, if so, how much?.

This is from before .85 as I've built my 10X10 garden since .85 was released and I'm refusing to plant anything in it because of weeds. I used 24 uses of weed repellent as soon as I built the garden. The next time I visited the garden it was completely evenly covered with weeds. Before .85 I had a 9X10 garden outside of the north fence at the B2 airport. After I watered it for the first time the rain kept it watered to around 2k. I forget what the unit of measurement for the 2k is. I also had a small garden on the north shore of the lake the C2 trader is in. I had to keep it watered because I'm assuming the snow didn't keep it watered..

Hmmm strange i tried .85 first time gardening so I’m fairly new to gardening. I had weeds immediately after i build the garden 2x7, what i found strange but i removed it by hand and planted my stuff. I didn't used once weed repellent and had only one time more weed. The garden i running for 8 IG Days very fine. For Watering i used at the start the 20L Garden Watering Can and yeah it seems off to use the 20 L on one spot but since then i didn’t need to water anytime more.

The whole gardening system needs tweaking, seed planting takes too long, watering can could be better if watering plot was done in an semi circle motion instead of just one spot, weeds grow too quickly, get the balance on whats wrong and it will be a great addition to the game, at the moment I am trying to build a community garden with all the crops on a 10 x 10 plot, shame you can only have just one plot per flag but there is a way around that.

Yes, rain will water the garden, at least it was like that before the last update.
How much? Go and check every now and then.

I don’t even water my garden plot unless I’m near a river. After it rains I plant. They never use up the water before it rains again.

For the people who have trouble with weeds, the weeds stop coming back if you stay on top of them for a bit. If you de-weed your garden and logout the weeds will be back next time you are online. If you de-weed your garden and then de-weed it again at the first sign of weeds they will stop coming back.
