Infection after infection
Since Hell's kitchen update I cannot find anything I can prevent infection with. Before that there was alcohol literally everywhere, now I can't find any. I've looked everywhere. Is there something I don't know about? How am I supposed to treat infection if there are no stuff to treat it with? I better off just committing suicide after a Zombie hit me, because I end up dying anyway. What to do now? Any ideas? Thanks

You will find a lot of pills at the hospital. They can also be refrigerated for longer durability.
I think there is so many items that is on the same spawn list, that it's difficult to get something you need.
With new updates and new items, that items get boosted a lot, eg cook books. You find them everywhere now, but the spices, salt, pepper, etc that one used to find in the same places, is now 5th wheel.

Another hint is to check the night club for alcohol.

You mean the one in the midde of Samobor?

Stop trolling the new players.. lol

But yes, if you are trying to find a large amount of alcohol, that's a great place.

Traders now sell single packet antibiotics. Should be relatively cheap, assuming you have the fame points needed to buy from them.

Any alcohol will allow you to disinfect rags now.

Try your best to keep your minerals up. Vitamins help greatly.

Also, you can strip naked, which will lower your contamination rate due to dirty clothes.

Funny, i've tried several different types of bottled booze, vodka, etc., and they didn't allow me to disinfect rags into sterile bandages. Had to find a bottle of isopropyl before i could. Absinthe is pretty MIA now, too. Haven't even found a single bottle of it, used to be all over the place.

We should be allowed to use Agave (aloe vera) to treat those wound, they are already on the game. Some times we are far alway from locations with pharmacis, hospitals or bars.
A good thing is that we can find more antibiotics on pharmacis now

The best method for preventing infection is to stop blocking with your face. :D

But seriously, as d3Sync said you can buy single pill from the trader now for about $300 and I don’t think it requires any fame.

Regular alcohol, like vodka, whiskey, etc works to treat the wound (pour on it) but it doesn't work to disinfect rags.

If a C1 shows the germ icon and the text is red, that doesn't mean it's infected. That means it will become infected if nothing is done. The quickest solution is to take off the clothes that are covering the wound. 99% of the time this is enough on a C1 in my experience. (The mouse-over text should turn green which means the germs are decreasing.) You could also wash your clothes, but they get dirty so fast and require so much soap to clean them, it's impractical to even try.

Good tip about removing clouth, I dont knew that

Another complicated way was to put some bandages and remove them when they get green to reopen the wound untill you get a way to treat properly.

Im waiting for that one to. Can already pick them up in the game. Maybe mix them with a bottle of water for 2 charges. Could heal a bit slower than alcohol. But that option hopefully will be a thing. Good point. More versality on how to handle your charachters problems.

I had to just buy from the Saloon and the Doctor and make my own bandages (Traders)

Yeah, the primary infectant from C1's is your own dirty clothes. It might be for the others as well, but I'm not sure. It seems putting on clean or disinfected bandages protects the wound from clothes contamination, but I haven't verified this.
