Cookbooks

I noticed immediately that none of the merchants sell the cookbooks. But I just found a duplicate of one I already have and just discovered that none of the merchants will buy them. Is this an oddity on my server or is anyone else noticing this? If its everywhere I'd love to hear if there is some kind of rationale for it from the developers.

Hello :),

The Books are currently not aviable to the traders. As far as i know this will change later.

they should be at some point. Prolly not much or at least let us recycle them for paper for shotgun shells

Already have been. Doesn't help when I've found more of certain books than people I'm willing to trade them with.

what do we do with them tho? do they add recipes when you pick em up or somethin?

You have to have it in your inventory to use it, once you add the ingredients and cook it, stop the ccoking when the timer runs out, if you ♥♥♥♥ it perfectly you memorize that cookbokk and can do w/ you want with it.

Theres a heart in the upper left corner, if its red colored you know that recipe book. If its not red you dont know it

...i can click the heart, it turns red, no idea what it means
...i can't cook popcorn anymore? only what i have a recipe for and a handfull of stuff i don't know the ingredients for - game doesn't give information on things it's giving information on
..,even after helpful explanations, testing, still no idea what these books do

Hello, I bought the game two weeks ago, and I would like to know if it's still possible to make popcorn? I 've seen it was possible before, like Suska said, but I dont find it anywhere even with cookbooks

Currently it is not possible as the cooking Rework with Hells Kitchen update changed the way cooking works.
