Can't inject dead squad member with phoenix tears like before?

I noticed today that I can't inject phoenix tears into a dead squad member to revive them. I was used to this before if they blew themselves up or some other catastrophic damage, but it used to be an option with melee damage or being accidentally shot. Does anyone know if this is a setting we can change in our server, or is it the way it's supposed to be now? Thanks!

It works, in a specific time frame maybe ?

Weve used it post patch a few times but one time i remeber i couldnt for some reason, im assuming it was because they had been dead to long or maybe started the respawn proccess ?

We've been testing it on the server- even if I try to inject them immediately after death, the option is greyed out. I can say for sure they haven't started the respawn process with their character, but I'm not sure if there was some option in the admin controls that we could have messed up to prevent the phoenix tears from working in this manner. We've looked a couple times and can't see anything that jumps out at is.

what level of medical skill do you all have ?

are you trying the P 29 rapid recovery serum ? thats pheonix tears from the scum admin helper

Yes, the P29 rapid recovery is what we're using. Neither of us have allocated any points to our medical skill since we didn't need it before- maybe that's why?

i cant think of anything else tbh. leem check what my in game med skill is bit im pretty sure its at least medium

That'll be a nice change, might stop crazy bunny hopping squads with no clothes, a gun and phoenix tears running around like madmen reviving each other!

nope i have 0 skills in medical and 28% twords basic skill level

Dies Forth- thanks so much for your responses! I'm pretty sure it worked for us yesterday too, but not today. We were playing with our server settings, which is why I think it's something we did...

Figured it out! If we have player to player damage too high, phoenix tears won't work to revive a dead squad member. That's the setting you need to play with :)
