Gas Tank - propane

I play singleplayer and have 9 of those gas tanks, how do you get rid of an empty one?

I cant seem to damage it and it does not respawn.

any tiips?

can you sell any you dont want to the trader ?

no clue if the trader buy those, but they trader is far away from me, was just woundring what to do with all those....could be fun if you make turn them into a bomb..

you can either refill them at the propane tank at the gas stations or put it into a chest and destroy the chest which destroys the contents of the chest

Where did you find your propane tanks? Me and my squad mates have been looking all over the map for days and haven't found any. Seems to be the rarest loot on the map. It's driving us nuts.

as im sure youve already looked, gas stations, garages and 2 story warehouses is where ive seen them

I found all of mine in regular garages..I play single player mode. maybe there is a differnt in multiplayer mode

I've found like 6 around the junk car lines at the junkyard. I've found 4 inside the main building on the garage floor at the junk yard. I've found 3 in garages in towns. I've not bought any propane, I just refill the highest durability one I have with all the ones I've found.

If your wanting to get rid of a ton the fastest way to get rid of them would build a thatch foundation, put them all on it and destroy the foundation. The chest thing would work too but would take way more resources. You can sell them at the trader but I think I only got like 10 bucks for one.
