.22 hunter mags

The NPC shop sells the gun and the bullets but not the magazine. Is this something you have to find out in the world?

The Armorer sells the mags for the Hunter85 (.22 cal) and suppressor.

You have to be cautious of the item names in the list. Don't get Hunter85 (.22 cal) and Carbon Hunter (30-06 cal) confused. I wish they would add an item description whne you hover over the item or once you've selected it. Another way is to act like your going to purchase the Hunter85 and it''ll usually show you some of the matching items (ammo, mags, etc) BUT, make sure you do not continue to the cart or buy..

Oh Hunter 85 now takes mags? i thought it just became the worst gun in the game with a single round chamber only. Funny, I have never seen a mag for it but carbon mags all the time.

I prefer when it was a 4 round load, no mag needed. I think its common for .22 bolt rifles to not have a mag but carry multiple rounds in other ways?

On my server, I never found the mags on the NPC vendor. Another player actually gave me 2 that had been looted and repaired to 50%. I was looking at the parts purchase for the Hunter85 and there is a part that looks like it could be the mag so that might be another way to get one. I think when the devs switched it to the 7 round mag, they forgot to add it to the NPC's loot pool.

You do not get a description in the store when pressing CTRL. I wish you did.

I can 2nd that this isn't a thing and I also wish it was. If you are really a dev, please add this functionality along with these magazines to the NPC vendor loot pool. :)

finding mags for the hunter 85 is easy go to any bunker with mechs or the airfields usually has them, and sometimes i find suppressors there as well, if only we could tape a knife to one like a diy bayonet then the hunter would be fun and possibly useful again.

It is quieter, you just don't hear the difference when you are the one shooting it. I can stand 80+ meters away from a puppet and shoot it in the body with a suppressed .22 Hunter, and it will just turn around in circles trying to find where the shot came from. Shoot it at the same distance with a suppressed Kar98 or other large rifle, and it and/or it's nearby buddies will zero right in on you and come running for you instantly.
