Ive rebound the " tab " button in game to my mmb/wheel
now when i hold down the mmw it brings up the radial menu to select alot of what i used to have to click through alot of menus to accomplish
First of all thanks for your contribution. In SCUM, the most important thing is to plan ahead. While some actions are "natural" in nature, others depend on how well you prepare.
Thanks to the quick bars, you can achieve a lot here in order to take things quickly in your hand, to get your weapons ready or to be able to use objects quickly as thrown weapons.
I have actually always found the quick bars to be very helpful for me, especially on longer scouting trips, and with a little practice they can certainly be a good support for everyday life in SCUM.
Personally, I would just hope that you can use items in your hands with their Prior activity, like pressing the "R" key on the chainsaw to start them up. But who knows what the future holds here. :)
I don't like "arcadey" games, let alone survival games.
I wouldn't even need any quick stash or sort buttons for the inventory. That's all just lazy imo. Survival means to put (at least) SOME effort into it.
That's what makes Scum stand out and makes it unique in a way.
All other games just do what all other games do.
I think Scum should keep it's uniqueness.
putting a bandage of any kind, food and drink on my hotbar is all the things i need to quickly take care of my lil guys needs
Plus massive amounts of automatic weapons of course lol
I do agree, however, if a item is in your hand already and the item has a purpose like a opened can of food or a snack that does not need to be opened like :"Is tagged with "EAT" a keypress for actually eating or using something in your hands would be helpfull. It is still determined by what you select and prepare but you can skip the open, press eat, close inventory steps just for using an item that is already in your hands. :)
IRL you choose what o eat and or drink, you have the options to drink gasoline IRL just like the game so im confused what the vast difference is thats making you quit the game ?
does some1 make all your food/drink decisions for you IRL ?
but he clearly dosnt know you can add the food you wanna eat to the hot bar then just mash the button to eat without "one click, one click one click"
it becomes "one click, MASH MASH MASH MASH"
