Starter Cards are stupid

You can lose all your money to easy if you spawn in with a starter card. Why is this a thing? you can get a card if you need it from a bank.

u need a card for fuel.

But, you only need to sell one vehicle and you have enough for a gold card.

you can destroy the card if worried about being killed and losing it, but if you come across a vehicle with a battery but no fuel, As I did today, its a long hike to the trader to get a card. I even found a fuel can near the vehicles location with 2/40 fuel. if I had my card I could have got the fuel easy.

Other option is to just bury it in a chest.

What surprises me OP is you talk about being raided at base yet starter card in the same post.

By the time you are ready to build a base, you should be pretty established and by then, enough for a gold car easily. I mean, you need A LOT of padlocks before even start thinking about building. In that time, most players find money and items to sell that will get you the 5k.

Sry, I misunderstood after reading again. after death respawn with starter card, not as fresh. Yes, that is kinda flawed. There was a point were this didn't happen. Not sure why it was changed

just another thing to think about when squads or people want to get into a pvp fight die THEN try to run back to fight.... they might forget to drop it... get killed again and boom.. card..

so if someones camping in your base or bed you might need to spawn somewhere else
imo theres very few times that the starter card would screw you over....
besides you dying with it near players..

its used for when you die and need gear you can just spend your money with the starter card.. cause no card no access to bank

though dying and buying will get costly and you still need to get back to where ever you died at

yeah, it's about when you spawn in when your base getting raided. I was worried about getting guns to kill the intruders, my last thought was about the starter card. I buried my Gold card safely away but i spawned in with a starter card after being killed. i failed to repel them so i lost everything plus all the money in the bank

They should make it an option in options if you want to spawn with it.

+1 credit cards should not spawn with you. true!!

We should get it from a ATM or traders when we reach those locations but not spawn with it!

Hey there OP, you can destroy your starter card within a minute of your landing, simply craft a stone knife and right click on the card, and choose the option "Destroy".

Yes but if we are killed while parachuting? Or if we die for a lag, disconnection, etc.?
One will able to access all our stored money.

Isn't better to get a new one from ATM or Bank trader?

why is having an option a problem for some people, if you don`t like having the starter card destroy it asap, i often don`t bother collecting money, just as i don`t do farming ever, this is scum find guns, ammo and useful loot and then survive, you don`t need money for that.

Yes but if you respawn to try and protect your base you don't have a minute to collect rocks. It's even worse if you fail then you have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ card with no protection and they can clean you out without even having to guess a pin. So you lose your base and your all your money. Are gold bars not for trying to protect what you have? If you have a lot of money you're supposed to respawn elsewhere so you can destroy your card instead of fighting in your base?

Resapawn -> Fall Down-> Open Parachute-> Sbam -> killed -> looted by killer-> get card -> you have lost ALL your MONEY in BANK

And you can't avoid it!!
