Where's the bread?

Wanted to make some burgers but couldn't find bread. Being in SP I tried to spawn it in, but nope. Went to an outpost and nope, no bread.

Bread is now part of the new cooking system, you have to find a "Cakes" cookbook.

I absolutely get that things have to be made/crafted but the reality is that there is a spawn code for bread, and probably a lot of other items that must be crafted, because there is no way for the item to exist in the game after being crafted without it. This seems like a pretty silly thing to keep a secret from server owners.

By that theory a player could become a drug dealer and sell weed to players on a server since none of those items can be bought or sold at the traders.

You're willing to spawn bread.
So spawn a generator, a cake cook book, milk, flour, baking soda, yeast, water and optional salt, pepper and sugar. In any house with an oven.

I miss it being on the trader, but it is by and far the best food in game imo.
The only thing you cannot buy at the trader for bread is the book (and the oven i guess)
For the book, I recommend hospital, approach from the south road, there'll be a pharmacy and general store on right side of gate, and a building on the left. This building has several bookshelves, and there are a couple more of these buildings further north.

All nice and well and I know all this, given the fact this thread is seven month old....
