Laika or WolfsWagen is better for SP?

Hello here, yea i came back finally. I think this game is a little bit addictive even in this state.
I still playing solo to learn and get better before going to MP when the game will not have this many bugs. And i have to ask something :
What's the better car for an SP gamer? Laika or WolfsWagen?
I've read that the Laika have more cargo space than the WolfsWagen, but the wiki tells they're the same for it. And i don't care about speed (i've medium driving skill) but i might prefer more agility off roads...
So what's the better for me, please?

PS: i never had the cargo emptying bug of my WolfsWagen. Maybe this bug is only on Laika's?

Right now Laika definitely has more space. Also seems a bit more agile on corners (shorter wheelbase I guess?). But.. the engine noise in 3rd person is a lot more offensive ;)

In single player mode I personally prefer the WW, I just like it a bit better. From the optical point of view it's really a matter of taste.

In terms of inventory, however, the Laika has more space than the WW. You notice that especially with lengthy routes that stretch very long. Here the Laika also surpasses the WW due to its off-road capability and the large amount of storage space for the extra petrol canister. However, the WW is more than adequate and suitable for short distances, quick raids or other quick tasks.

I haven't got to try the other one but the Laika seems amazing at handling and with speed. I haven't played since before the change to cars (just came back after months) but I'm loving that car very much, it's powerful also. My skill is only beginner and it seems to run great.
It only seems to get 0.25 Km to the gallon though, Lol. Maybe that's the same for both cars?

To OP

I play single player. I own both types of cars.
Lika's inventory is quite attractive.

I have not experienced the missing item bug in the inventory of my car, which is strange.
I do not know if that bug is happening only in Lika.

I keep my important items in my wardrobe just in case. I sell the unwanted items to traders.

Please drive both types of vehicles without fear of item loss and let us know if you encounter that bug.

P.S.
The chest is not designed to hold a portable refrigerator. It is not possible to put in.

Four chests can be placed in Lika's inventory and three chests can be placed in WW's inventory.

Lika's inventory can contain 3 chests + portable refrigerator.

The WW even has enough room to hold 4 chests, the Laika fits 5.
But the cars also have a weight limit of course. If all your chests are filled to the brim, you can't put all of them in. That's something some people are not aware of.
The Laika also only has 2 doors, wich might be fine for solos or a duo, but if you're frequently driving with more people, the in and out of the Laika gets annoying pretty fast.
In that case the 4 door WW might be the better choice. ;)

I never had the problem with my car despawning .... until 2 days ago ... along with 5 very full chests of valuable loot. I have now become just a little bit paranoid about it happening again, and every time I stop the car and intend to move more than about 50m away from it, I drag all the chests out and leave them lying on the ground until I get back in the car again. It hasn't happened again, yet, but I don't wanna risk it.

Thanks everyone, ok i will buy an engine for my new Laika and try it. It seems to be the more interresting car for me. The wiki need to be updated.

Ok i can't buy an engine for my Laika... 153 fame points and 30500cr. The option is greyed.

Your car is properly on the lifter at the mechanic and in service mode?
153 fame is enough?
Did you mess with the vehicle settings?
Or maybe he has none in stock.
Maybe try this: open EconomyOverride.json in the config/WindowsNoEditor folder and set trader unlimited stock to 1
Also set fame point requirement to 0 for testing sakes.

You can see the needed Fame when interacting with the Trader. :) When you can purchase Vehicles you can purchase also engines. If i am not misstaken it was around 460 (Sorry not entirely sure, its been a while when i was last at the mechanic store.

I just checked with a fresh char and for me (no changes in economy) all vehicle parts are locked behind 400 FP.
So there´s a good amount of olives left to pick for you i suppose... :b

When we interract with the car on the car lifter, we can buy and place all parts without any fame...(but not the engine). Did i find another bug?
