Can't we sell boats?

I can't sell boats in safe-zones but why? It seems i can sell cars, so why not boats too?
And what about motorcycles?

Hello :),

You can sell each of them. With boats make sure you put the boat close to the fisherman Trader in order to sell it.

I know this is an old thread, but I just had a question. I just tried to sell a boat on a private server and the boat was only in the vicinity of my player if I was literally standing in front of it. If I moved away 2 feet (see this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/59OrYrz.jpeg), it wasn't - which means there was no way I could sell it to the B4 trader.

My question is - can the vicinity be changed in the server settings? I wasted an hour just trying to manoeuvre the boat to get it close enough.

Thanks for this information. I tried that, and the boat was not in the vicinity. If you look at the example of my original post, you can see how close my character is to the boat......not even 2 feet, and it's not in the vicinity - meaning not able to sell it to the trader.

Could this be a server side setting? Otherwise, something is off.

The sale is made by the dealer himself. If the boat is in the area shown by me, go to the fishing dealer and there you can sell the vehicle by marking it and finally sell it.

There is no setting that changes this in the game or in the settings; the sales zones are fixed.

I did try that exact spot, as well as every other one nearby - but nothing appeared in the sell tab at the Fisherman trader. Once I moved away from the boat, it was not in the vicinity, thus was not available to see by the trader in the sell tab.

It's too late now, so a moot point - but perhaps something that should be looked into further.

I don't know if Deathwhisper helped you yet (i'm very late, sorry) but i clearly remember my boat was not in my own vicinity when i wanted to sell it. Apparently it need to be in the Seller's vicinity only, not ours. (it may be bigger)
That time it worked good. I don't know if it has changed with the patchs, i don't play anymore to the game and i don't plan to play again.
