Where do memory modules spawn?

Yes i know they're in abandoned bunkers, but where specifically? Are they only in rooms that need to be powered? Do they spawn in specific containers? Or do they only spawn out in the open? Increasing my intelligence is the main reason i would go into one of those bunkers, but i can't find a module anywhere. Where the hell are they?

In my knowledge, yes
Idk about abandoned bunker lab or H section at level 1, I don't loot much there

In depository I saw many grey module never get it because it's bad, only 2 blue, but many purple module, I maybe lucky

Hello :),

With a bit of luck, these can be found throughout the bunker. This is not just limited to the storage rooms.

For example, I have already found a 0/16 module in the control box room. However, you will find the most "luck" in the larger storage rooms near Mr.Brenner because there are many crates to search through here.

Okay so they can be found in crates in any room? That's the answer i was looking for. I guess i've just been unlucky. All i can find is a few fuses.

They are indeed very rare and the chances of finding one in the upper section is really low even on vanilla. However as mentioned, the storage rooms near Mr. Brenner have the best chances to look for the BCU Upgrades. :) After around 28 Runs into the abandoned bunkers ive managed to get 5 blue, 3 Purple, 7 Grey and 2 Gold BCU Upgrades. Most of them in the mentioned storage rooms. :)

No they can't be found in the open. The are in the depository's and the lvl 2 ones almost always have them.

I found them in the open a couple of times some times ago. Not sure if this has been changed.
They can be easily found in any of the storage rooms, even on level 1.
At least in my experience.
