It would be a bit too easy if you had an arsenal on your first day on the island. You have to do a little something for it and Samobor with its size offers a rich environment to at least arm yourself. A weapon, whether it's a small SMG, a handgun or a shotgun, can go a long way.
Better and high-quality weapons, however, can be found in the more dangerous regions, especially military-oriented POI's. That's not to say you can't still be lucky enough to find a good rifle, but the chances of finding one in a relatively unguarded store as opposed to a military bunker or facility are correspondingly slim. In principle, you cannot find sniper rifles or heavy machine guns in these shops.
Nevertheless, Samobor offers possibilities here. In particular, look around for the fairly centrally located school building and the large sports hall. There is still a chance to spot a stronger weapon here. (For example, a few minutes ago I managed to recover an 88% M1 Garand in the school building's gymnasium.)
Aside from that what is your Problem? You still get Handguns and some Rifles, thats more than enought to go into Bunkers...... Aside from that it aint that hard to go loot Weaponfactory and such stuff... so idk why ppl complain so much..... this game takes time and effort... its not Minecraft in which you get End Game Armor after 10 Minutes.
It is neither obsolete nor is it as dramatic as you describe it. As I said, during my visit to Samobor I was able to get an M1 Garand and later even an M16 from the city, an Aksu, as well as a UMP (UMP and AKsu from gun shops). The police station had a .357 with .38 ammo packs. With that I have more than enough equipment to either contest the "normal" bunker a little north of Samobor or even one of the abandoned bunkers.
Also in my current run I have already found 2 rifles, namely 2xAS Val and even ammunition for it.
You don't find "nothing", but you have to search purposefully to get specific objects. SCUM is survival oriented, you don't get everything in one place.
E.g. the military barracks near Zagorje are very lucrative as far as equipment is concerned, the factories and the airport also offer many good chances of finding an assault rifle or even a higher caliber rifle.
Even today, I regularly search WWII bunkers and can thus properly maintain my favorite weapon, the Kar98, and supply it with ammunition.
Interesting, strange that I do not find such a thing. I have no problem looking longer for better Loot, but it makes no sense when you run 8 rounds of Samobor and the best weapon is a Tec01 shotgun.
Unfortunately, all server settings are broken, so it is not even worth it to adjust something. And again, you can adjust something, but not as radical as it happens in this HOTFIX. Just now I was at the airfield D4, the best thing I found there was a SDASS. Normal 4 u?
It depends on RNG if you have luck or not. Usually when i roam B2 airfield i find some clothes, maybe some spare ammo, mags but weapons are very rare. Latest was a AKM but no attachments for it but yes, for me it is allright this way. If i want more, i could just increase the Item Spawners.
8 Runs.... so you invested roughtly 1 Hour of TIme (not counting the Respawn Wait Time, which would be around 4 1/2 hours in total) and you didnt fing "best loot for the spot"..... and you complain and feel entitelt to it because you invested basicly 1 Evening..... Just WOW..... and let me guess, instead of going to other POI in the Meantime, like Weapon Factorys and such( excepting the One Time u go to the Airfield), you just waited for the Respawn right?..... Dude thats not how it is supposed to Work, get that into your Head.... you are supposed to go around the World longer as it takes you to make a great Dinner for your Family.
at least 30-40 Hours before you get RPGs and LMGs and such stuff would be a reasonable time. The Game is supposed to be Played over Weaks and Months and nothing you play for 5 Days, like modern (pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥) Games which are over after 10 Hours basicly.
What u think ive done between the 8 rounds? And no, i never played minecraft, and no, im not in game for the first time. And yeah, thanks for ur ultimate tipps how i have to play a game.

YES you are supposed to play a Game how it is meant to be played by the Vision of the Dev´s... This isnt a Open World Sandbox Game which is Promoted as "Do whatever you want" as its Main Feature.... Games need Rules, and Rules enforce more or less specific Gamestyles and Fun for Specific Types of Players.... In most Cases Devs try to incorparate as much as possible, without strife to far away from theire own Vision, but everything has to Stop. If that Point is reached for you simply stop Playing the Game.
But i already know, no matter what you get told, how many explanations you get, how many People tell you that you might just be Unlucky or that you should try something different, you will disregard all that and still claim you are in the right, just so you can complain.
