No, there is no way to remotely activate fireworks of any kind. You need to light them on spot and run if you going to distract someone. However, i did this already quiet some times for players and recently even for puppets and it workes this way well. :)
I really hope they add this. Sounds like a pretty easy thing to add to the game, in-comparison to the things they are already adding.
Is there a way we can rally together to get them to add this? After some searching I've noticed people talking about this method being a way to hopefully have a delayed start to fireworks, and that was years before cigarette's were even usable in-game. Clearly people think this is ideal.
That laser detonator doesn't have much range.
It's probably already in suggestions but they read everything anyways.
That said, it would be very low priority compared to the amount of really important stuff this game needs.
