Is it possible to zoom map in game?

It's incredibly hard to navigate in the city if you have poor eyesight, since i can't really understand where i am, all streets just allign and form the yellow mess.

No, not ingame.
You could use this helpful site to navigate better, set filters for POIs, track your position and whatnot.

Yeah, i am using it. But i can't find exact spot in game. Like, i spend half hour running around car garage site that market near the city river, but can't find it, because ingame map is too large and i can't know my exact position

I think tracking position on this site is only available for subscribers or something.

a mini map would be nice, and also a way to mark things on the map, like in Valheim.

+1 for zoom - I find that the red dot that shows where you are can often block out useful bits of map in your immediate vicinity because of the tiny scale.

Isn't the map just temporary anyways? If I remember correctly we would get a map item and that'd be the only way to look at the map and make notes and whatnot.

Yup. It's kinda placeholder anyways. Don't expect them to add anything to it.

If it's not just an animation, then it will suck a lot. It's already very hard to orientate in such a big world, and having to find map... meh. People will get lost in any forest they enter. Or, more likely - just live near the hot spot and never travel anywhere.
