Compound Bow Question
I recently got my character to 7 strength and had a question about the compound bow. I adjusted the draw and its at 120 now as opposed to 80. My question is what is the difference? Should I expect higher damage or what?

At the higher poundage values the arrows have a flatter trajectory, the higher you keep going they'll just be more accurate for a longer distance. I don't know if it stops improving at a certain value or if going from 100 to 120 it still improves, but it seems probable.

Sidenote to your subject though, did you do anything particular to consciously get your strength up? 7 str is no joke!

Still takes 3 shots to kill the fat military puppets with the carbon broadhead arrows. 2 shots if you get the last one to the head. And I have 8.0 STR.

That's a bit disappointing actually. I figured there would be a solid damage increase or something relevant to the added poundage.

Ah that makes more sense. I'll have to give that a shot when I get back in game. As for leveling strength, it took months to do, but knowing what I know now, I can probably cut that time down a bit.

Most of my play style heavily relies on strength. Heavy stealth, bows, melee, throwing, and a lot of loot whoring. Since I don't use cars, I normally carry two full backpacks to and from my base/traders. Add a primarily meat diet and you'll stack strength pretty fast. Food is very important though. It has to be high protein and pretty much nothing else. I remember eating a candy bar one time and it dropped my strength gain by several points.
