That's a bit disappointing actually. I figured there would be a solid damage increase or something relevant to the added poundage.
Sidenote to your subject though, did you do anything particular to consciously get your strength up? 7 str is no joke!
Ah that makes more sense. I'll have to give that a shot when I get back in game. As for leveling strength, it took months to do, but knowing what I know now, I can probably cut that time down a bit.
Most of my play style heavily relies on strength. Heavy stealth, bows, melee, throwing, and a lot of loot whoring. Since I don't use cars, I normally carry two full backpacks to and from my base/traders. Add a primarily meat diet and you'll stack strength pretty fast. Food is very important though. It has to be high protein and pretty much nothing else. I remember eating a candy bar one time and it dropped my strength gain by several points.
