im hoping for something else to be put there to make it actualy worth going.
people will say "get good" at lock picking
imo its such a hard cutoff for people that cant figure out the lockpicking no matter how much they "practice" takes a good chuck of late game away from those people, and makes a select few have access to that part of the game
imo kepads like in rust will solve this
I see that quite a bit. Just get good at lock picking. I've tried using the practice board. I can lockpick the easy locks. The police stations, drops and a few other boxes scattered around. The rest I'm pretty much useless. I'm not going to complain about the locks. Just because I can't lock pick them doesn't mean they're bad or need to be replaced. I just avoid going to places that rely on being able to lock pick them.
I may have been mistaken. I see many players who are afraid and uncomfortable with "Radiation Presence", I meant to point out how even though it looks scary it isn't problematic unless you let it become a later stage ARS. I often travel through radiated zones and rarely had issues. There are many ways to mitigate the threat other than just avoiding the area or staying fully suited-up all the time, for example by not overdoing how long you expose yourself to radiation, using potassium iode pills to lower it's impact, hydrating/pissing more, soaking yourself and your gear in water, drying your affected gear on the floor instead of storing it in a container, etc.
It'll be a personal choice to determine if the Nuclear plant area is worth visiting for you. Like many other POIs, the loot tables don't match the level of difficulty. It is probably safe to assume that'll get balanced better in the future. In the meantime enriched uranium sells for a decent amount and allows you to make nice bullets. The puppets and loot may not be as exciting as it could be, but the POI's design and overall feel I find quite enjoyable to explore and I love to bring new people there whenever I can.
From what I've seen I can do better looting the Chinese shops in the city and not have to contend with radiation. I'm on a PVE server so I don't have a need for radiated bullets. I also don't think it's worth the effort to go through the area just for a drop.
Thanks for the information. I hadn't even thought about asking how useful the radiated bullets are.
I can't lock pick good enough to go there imo. I'm on a high loot server so I get plenty of money from places like the B2 airport, the Boot Camp, and the Naval Yard.
in my opinion and as said just MY opinion but the devs have destroyed an entire sector of the map
Have you not seen the concept art of new creature npcs? Where do you think they might be placed? It will be underground in the irradiated areas. Tunnels caves etc and likely some stragglers on the surface . Hazmat npcs will likely be on the surface too.
I'ts weird to me people keep complaining about lack of this and that as if the game is in a finished state or something..
