Lost so many hours of loot, which w/e not going to complain because it's EA but man what a kick in the nuts, think I'm going to take a break. Would have preferred to have been raided rather than just a nope all gone.
After 0.8 ...I put down a flag at a location I liked. I then crafted a couple of chests inside the flag area I had just created - to drop some loot off and to make it easier to build (logs and sticks boxes). I don't recall putting any locks on them at first instance. After my base was somewhat built, I destroyed my flag to replace it as I had to move it.
Then I have crafted more chests and then wardrobes. Found a car.
None has disappeared. I still have my chests and cars.
Edit: actually one of my cars in the very beginning was swallowed by the ground. But the car I had after - I still have.
For what ever help it may be for the devs troubleshooting - I'm on a US East Ping Perfect server, low loot, increased puppets, multiple flags allowed, about 20-25 vehicles of each spawning (except wheelbarrows)
I always (unless the rare occasions I'd forget to) repair the server before downloading a patch.
The entire server map is customized sectors - and all with "allow parking", as in cfg.
Most of my game settings are at medium except
post processing and texture memory is on "high"
Streaming speed is at "very high". No FSR no Vsync.
Cloud shadow on low cloud quality on medium
Render scale at 85
Fullscreen
1920 x 1080
When I start the game from Steam I never choose Dx12 experimental or vulcan - I just hit the option "play Scum".
In my Nvidia control panel I have "Texture filtering - quality" set at "performance"
I have tried to have most settings on my Nvidia Control panel to not have a significant impact on performance
I don't know if any of this is of any help, but in the slightest case it can...
And here's my PC specs:
Win 10
MSI 27" G272 Optix,144Hz
GeForce GTX 1060, 6GB
MSI Infinite X Core i7 [Intel Core i7-8700], 3.20GHz
RAM: 32 GB DDR4
(Corsair Neutron Series XT 480GB SSD ) + 256GB SSD +1TB ext. Hd +1TB ext. hd
Scum is installed on SSD
I think at least try and help the devs to troubleshoot with some more details
Yeah. Actually pretty annoying. We put in a lot of time getting them vesicles all for them to just disappear.
I am in an official server, so IDK.
Even more weird, when I read about the bug I placed a test chest (small wooden one) in our base and it's still there after around 20 days. No one is to touch it or put anything inside.
This seems to be a forever bug, if you look in the Bug Report forum and put Cars Gone you'll get 38 pages dating back to 2018.
and it's still happening.
Gotcha. Hope to see this resolved. Pretty annoying considering the time and resources we put into getting a car up and running.

Yes, because that is a PvE server and there is no real threat of other players stealing your vehicle, hence the timer for vehicle despawn on PvE servers was reduced from 10 days to 4 days.
Nope, not so far. Checking every other day, repairing the base and moving the cars and all that.
