PVE/RP Servers

Can anyone recommend a pve/rp only server where the admins don't ruin the economy by spawning stuff in frequently?

Right now I'm on a pve server and it's been decent but there's really no room for player economy or rp the way they have it set up. PVE right now is pretty lackluster and gets boring easily so I'm looking for a server that has a player supported economy. Not sure if it is possible but preferably with the traders turned off?

I think it would make pve more fun having a purpose for when online. Running a business or trade post of sorts. Need guns? Visit these players business. Need building supplies? Visit these players business. Need a car? These players business.

I've been wanting to start a gun dealing business on the server I'm on but since people can just go to the trader and buy every gun in the game it immediately kills that idea. I think pve would be far more fun with squads or players with trade posts or businesses rather than traders or admin who just spawn stuff in for people. Someone could even run a taxi business where they drive people from point A to B for a cost, so if an admin just teleports people to far destinations it kills that idea.

Are there any servers like this out there that anyone is aware of?

played on a server just like you're talking about a long time ago... there are a couple out there you just have to search the pve servers.

Yeah that was the point of posting about it. So I didn't have to go jump into 20 different servers in hopes one of them fits.

yeah pve is so boring, but rented pvp seem to have generally big squads that dominate and then official have hacking issues. Then for rented you gotta find what you want in your region too

Why would you do that? PVE is already stupid easy. making money of of puppet parts just seems odd, you cant sell anything crafted in vanilla and many crafting elements are worth 0. seems ok to me?

Not yet, no.
I just said I like the idea of a server without traders, but I got voted down in my server, lol.
Not too many players like it the harder survive and battle way, lol

Hi! What you are describing is exactly the sort of thing my server is all about. Your gun business would work perfectly and I think most players would rather buy from you than Jacob (our name for the Armory guy)....especially if they are competitive and have sights and cleaned etc. There are all sorts of RP things that can be attached to your business.

- 99.99999% PvE (PvP is possible but must be chat RPed)
- Custom Missions by me (I call them QRF Mission Impossible)....they are challenging, pay well, and are excellent group RP.
- Zombies are dice rolled every Friday for increases from 0.0 to 4.0%....this means the players can take an active role in reducing the Zombie Horde as well via server events and hunts.
- The server is a simulated 'Life on the Island' but a character can become a Legend and escape the island via their own story. It is great fun.
- Not an easy server but it is a lot of fun with the added tension of being careful where you adventure.
- We have a required Discord while a player plays in the server.
