How are official servers?

I am thinking about coming back to the the game and giving it another go on an official server....
I left the game because my bases kept getting demolished after 1-2 days, regardless how many locks/doors I had, how many mines and walls in-front of the doors.

Has it gotten any better on official servers or shall I not even bother coming back?

it's still happening, and that's the biggest minus the game has atm. Devs said yesterday they are working on anti-cheat though, so there is hope :)

Cheaters are an issue in any game, we are constantly combating them but it's, unfortunately, a neverending fight. As for the base destruction, it's still possible for an ordinary player to destroy your base, no base is fully secure and indestructible, given enough resources any base can be taken down.

It's totally understandable and expected that a base can be destroyed, but in the past, no base of mine ever lived more than 2-3 days. Regardless how many locks, etc...

Just dont wanna invest hours and days into something that will be gone in 15 minutes

Especially when you're offline, ♥♥♥♥ up your Job and your Family and maybe you can keep the Base ab bit longer if you have the Opportunity to fight for it, make your Reallife a SCUMlife :<

If you are upset about the destruction of your base while you are not in the game, then try the official PvE server. There you will get a taste of the game and be able to play the way you like.
I recommend SCUM Server PvE #1 - Europe which is official.

There maybe cheaters in every game but most people never feel the effects of their cheating ways unlike this game.

The cheating on Official servers is getting out of hand. Me myself have had 7 incidents of hacking/cheating in under 2 months, I could only imagine what the other 40+ players are experiencing.

Also if in fact a player was a victim of a cheater they should 100% have everything restored to how it was.

Right now I highly recommend not playing on Official servers. TO many cheaters and exploiters. Go find a good private server that has active admins

yeah official servers are olmost as bad as gta online right now. go on a private server whit an active admin. i think the only one play official are those that test out new cheats if they detected or not. there are plenty good private servers tho

As I said in another topic if you do not report cheaters they will not be caught promptly.
And we are not restoring or compensating any lost gear, if one player gets gear back then everyone will ask for it, that is simply something that no one has time to do.

And we are not restoring or compensating any lost gear, if one player gets gear back then everyone will ask for it, that is simply something that no one has time to do.

Of course, fully compensating people for stuff they lost would be too work intensive and not really doable. I do have an idea however - remember those xmas boxes? Would it be doable/practical to just award a box to the player that has been fckd by a cheater as a way of well, not full compensation but more of a "here's something to make you feel better" thing?

I am the lucky one who received compensation on the official server and even a bonus in the form of a car with some loot. After a cheater was banned according to my report. :)
But, that was one time. There were several reports. I would most like feedback after reporting a cheater, it's important. At least they would simply write that your report was useful or your report was not relevant. (you wrote that you can’t write about other players, but at least somehow vaguely make it clear that the report was not written in vain)

Are you sure it was official?

Yes, I only play on official servers.
This was several months ago. Do not scold the admin, we lost a lot then because of the cheater. :)
