Rollback to .7

Patch obviously wasn't ready & that's fine, but if the fix is going to take a while roll it back.

Let us enjoy .7 we don't need to suffer waiting for the solution.

I also feel like soft rollouts & test servers would be helpful in preventing unstable patches (like this one) from being released prematurely.

Let them hotfix the bugs. There is no way to go back so look forward to future updates.

By definition, not likely the solution, if we're being honest about .8's buggy mess.

Also, Dev's don't delete old versions after new releases, so yes a rollback is possible.

No it is not. The devs have made that clear. Unfortunately those who do not get that the game will not go back are the same ones who do not understand EA.

That's ridiculous. Even if devs did say they can't rollback, I wouldn't believe them.

No but what I do have is time. Lets see after time who is right. I know they will not revert and why should they. You think they can and will. Lets see who is right lol. The next update from the devs will be another hotfix or additions and bug fixes to .8.

He is. They've already stated there will be no rollbacks. There never have been in the history of this EA, and they aren't going to start now.

scum is like life, i could tomorrow do everything i did yesterday and try to believe i can roll back my life to a better part of it, but i would know that isn`t the case and the future is where i`m heading, although scum could be rolled back it isn`t windows, so unless you win millions enough to buy gamepires and aquire scum that way, rolling back the game isn`t going to happen, i would be happy just to get the cursed suit back.

In some cases it would be alright to roll back an update that seems have serious issues. I doubt the devs will do that, there are things in 08 wich needs to be tested and then go forward from there. I would say let devs iron out these issues first and not go backwards, despite the fact it was 'çonveneint' for most players. An early accsess always comes with most issues you do not want to hear nor see. But the good side is this community leaves so much information that developers can work on. It is not that easy due to whatever reasons.
I can say I am or was game developer myself in the past, and its hard working and sometimes we work hard for the little crums we get, but love it anyways when things works out as we thought it din't.

Again, give it more time and be patient, sometimes you need to just wait to let them work on meanwhile deal with the issues that going to be gone soon!! ✌️🙏❤️

You can do a roll back to 0.7 for single player its complicated and you have to do it through steam depot I used this video for the process just swap out DRG for scum and this process works https://youtu.be/BVumyk2xzY0

For this way there can and will not be any possibility for support because the previous versions of the game are to be classified as obsolete.

The game is in the active development phase, early alpha as Tomislav called it and describes it very well because not all core elements are available yet. Please be patient, even if it's sometimes difficult and the solutions to the problems will come faster than you think! :)

It doesnt matter if there is support or not rolling the game back turns it from .8 walking simulator to .7 a fun game I may allow my game to update again once in 6 to7 months when we finally get planes back but until then I'll play on .7 and inform anyone that asks how to revert back to .7

I think missing the option to run .8 as a beta only and let the majority of people play on .7 until .8 was near to ready was a mistake. But its done now, its quite understandable for people who were enjoying this game to be upset at what was done because its a big step backwards in play ability.

Obviously pushing people to need the trader then hindering their ability to get there at the same time is just odd.. Some will see it as a challenge but compared to what this game had this feels like a lot of the fun was lost.
