Yes, there was a big change with the 0.8v especially in the area of vehicles and base building. The first iteration of these new mechanisms is just a start and basically shows the basic building block. Of course, feedback counts.
The whole thing takes some getting used to, which I can understand, but that shouldn't deter you from trying out and exploring the new ways of the game. Farming and modular BB are only partial aspects of the whole and of course not a necessity.
Personally I was never a fan of destroying bases without reason, with the modular base building bases have become a more obvious constant which isn't even wrong in my opinion. Play and see to what extent this is really so different. With the permadeath and the changes in the FP system, there are completely different ways here. :)
If i am not misstaken more customizations will come for Servers aswell as singleplayer in the future.
As in other areas, it is the first implementation. From here on it can and will continue accordingly. You can't implement all the desired functionalities in advance if you don't even know how the whole system works in general. That's why there are also the patches so that we can test, as soon as critical errors have been fixed, it can continue to build on the system.

We buy a game that was base in survivor and fighting poppet and human and in this patch you change the game to farming building game. this great 4 year of fighting and survivor go to rush in this patch to a sims/building game we not buy that type game sadly
