What is the point to the Nuclear Plant?
I have spent several hours in the Nuclear plant, exploring and looting and for the life of me I can't see a reason to go back ever, it seems to add nothing to the game. And with the crazy huge radiation zone there is no reason to even do anything on that side of the map. All for some depleted Uranium to make bullets... Yay? I can only hope there is some major additions coming to the Nuclear Plant.
While the area looks cool there are much better loot options on the map without bomb zombies popping out of the mist at you. Seriously this seems like an even bigger waste of time than the hospital.
Kudos on the team working on the modular building, that is a nice addition to the game. Gardening as well. Love the banking system, kudos to that team too... The vehicle team... you all get an F... and for the Nuclear Plant... looks great, seems pointless.

It may seem pointless now but we don't know how it ties in to the the finished game.

Missions, objectives, etcetera etcetera...

The same goes for many poi's and even game mechanics.

i assume that uranium core will be some kind of power source in the future. And those new added POI like hospital and nuclear power plant will be the host for new AI NPC and monsters.

I am certain at a later point the loot tables will get revamped and the POIs will yield greater chances to drop good and thematic loot. As well as more dangerous enemies unique to the different POIs.

Once there are most of the items and features avaliable it makes sense to sort the loot tables instead of doing that work after every patch.

A curious question, will those leaping mutants in the trailer pin people down like L4D hunters or just puppets that are just extremely acrobatic?

Let's say there are many features planned, including new NPC and enemies. I can't spoil more info.

I had a wander around there in sp last night at night, spine tingling 😱. Took off my Hazmat suit to see what happens and it was a bit of an anti climax🤔you just drop dead after few minutes, no physical symptoms just instantly die. I was expecting to be spewing blood and crawling on my hands and knees. I expect this will be the case in future? Love it though 😁
