affects bolt action guns as well
In real life, you do not pull the trigger to pump the shotgun, so it makes no sense to have the animation tied to the same key as the trigger in the game. There are more than enough keys on a keyboard for it to be something else.
This came up on Summit1g's stream, he kept trying to use a bolt action rifle and was unaware that the gun wasn't ready to shoot and when he fired it, he though the gun was firing but it was bugged and there was no gun shot sound. It's just a confusing feature and leaves players in the dark to whats even happening.
So Either you find somewhere safe and shoot from indoor to keep your distant, or just NOT use any weapons that are: Lever-action, bolt-action and pump action. Yeah I know how you feel, you just wanna feel good using shotgun to mow down puppets right?
