Counting of base building elements

Are there objects that use more than 1 counter?

Have built only foundation, a two staged cabin, some wardrobes and chests + two gardens and a palisade around it. And have reached our limit of 200 (what is a lot imho).
Can't figure out what could use so much counters. I even have built palisade in 5.0m segments, as noticed then they count as 1 for sure.

Any ideas?

someone said in a stream every item on the building tab is an element, if this true then flags are elements, someone also said traps count as elements, can a dev please confirm what exactly is an element and what counts as an element even though it should not.

If your walls are on uneven ground they will automatically segment into several smaller walls to deal with the terrain. This will result in several more elements for the same length of wall.
It's more than dumb.

Yes, traps will count as elements, but that does not include mines.

Holy Moly, I started building for the clan, 5x5 with a small additional corner plus the walls, floor as roof and the flag and I almost reached 75 pieces already. No second floor, no garages, no garden.

I don´t know yet how I to sell this limitation to my boys. I mean, no seperate bedrooms, storage room, cooking area. This is no base, this is a shack. I can´t call that a base. They gonna lynch me, I know it already, just good I wear a helmet.

Started with 5x5 too.

Foundation 5x5= 25
Walls around 4x5=20
2nd Floor = 25
Walls 2nd Floor = 20
Roof/3rd floor = 25

Destroyed the towerthing and reduced to 4x5
Foundation 4x5= 20
Walls around 4x4=16

+Torches, Fires + Wardrobes and chests+ a log storage + Walls only around at entrance side and 2 gates + 2 benches aside the stairs so no weirdo crawls under it and inside.
+ two gardens that i would destroy and build 1, if i could finish it.

I reached ~190 without any traps, mines , barricades or whatever to def it.
No idea how that stuff gets 100 counters.

While destroying a floor part, it destructs some nearby floor too.
Then I fell through new built floor parts. hovered where is no floor.
Managed to combine lower wall + that support frame thing to have a more open side with stability, but that needs 2 elements.
The side where i build entrance has higher foundation, so stairs didn't reach the ground. Needed another foundation part, then another stairs. To spare elements, I should make entrance in other wall where stairs can reach ground, but afraid the whole construction collapses when destroying a wall in lower floor.

Should join a squad and let someone else build that ♥♥♥♥. And then beat his helmet when there are no flowers in my seperate bedroom.

Are chests counted as base elements?
