Fastest way to leveling Camouflage?
1xp every 5secs seems like a pain in the ass, even for afking, is there any other method to level it quick? what influences it exactly? i heard crouching & walking in circles levels it ridiculously faster but idk

Hello :),

Do you mean the skill under Dexterity : Sneak
or the skill under Intelligence : Camouflage

Sneaking is relatively easy to learn, even if it doesn't seem like it. The skill itself looks like it's going to stretch out indefinitely, especially starting from 0 you notice that, but you can actually upgrade it very quickly.

Lots of movement and CTRL and mouse wheel are your best friends. In just 3 days I was able to reach 10,000 points and thus lvl 1 beginner while sneaking without endlessly running in circles. With active use and variety when sneaking, you can upgrade this skill relatively well, especially if you move a lot anyway.

Camouflage, on the other hand, is very dependent on the surface you walk on. Anyone who hopes to be able to learn camouflage on a street will quickly realize that this is not possible because there is nothing really to learn here except how to be run over by a vehicle and not even accidentally. But joking aside. Grass, bushes but generally the ground are the best friends and the skill levels up clearly and noticeably even if you just lie down. Though this will only work on Terrain, not on streets or pavements. For Snipers is most likely a selfrunning skill since it levels up even when idle (Reminder just on gras terrain.) :)

Not sure if it still works but it used to.

But along with Bunny, those days are sadly gone forever.

Dude, you are not even accurately answering the question and are just replying here to be a major drama queen and snark at DW.

You can crawl into two wheelbarrows parked together in a bush. Press Shift+W to auto crawl. Works with the crafted wheelbarrows too. It is not fully an afk method because you will still need to feed and water your tamagotchi and make sure he goes to the bathroom on time. I hope this method stays active because it is currently my favorite thing to do while I have other tasks (like homework) to do that I have to spend most of my brainpower on. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment to mulitask in this way.

What exactly triggers the normal XP gain? I noticed if I press crawl button inside a bush and stand still, I'll get lots of XP in a sec and then I'll only be getting 1XP every 1-5 secs, do I need to be moving to get the normal XP (hence why I'll use wheelbarrows?)

I remember something different, laying down in the bush, activating camo, standing up, then repeating the cycle, that one was the most efficent way of farming camo skill. Not sure if it still works tho.

Not sure where exactly you can't express your opinion anymore, even when Bunny was here if you were disrespectful towards someone you would be warned and your post deleted. I would know as I have worked closely with him over the forums. So in that manner, nothing changed.

Yes you need to be moving, but it doesn't work with all objects. Player crafted walls or buildings won't work. As far as I'm aware it works with the tractor and with wheelbarrows. (you can crawl under the tractor pushing from behind into the rear axle, or from the side... you'll have to play around a bit to get the positioning right, and every so often your character will sneak under and go crawling off into the forest...).

Don't forget to keep your toon fed or he'll stop gaining XP when nutrition or hydration falls below a certain point.

nice! thanks alot you all
one more question, i'm a new pvp player and i thought nothing better than... diving into pvp to learn pvp, amirite? but running from my base all the way to airport and other POIs take a looooooong time, so, if i have a base/small shed set but i'd like to temporarily respawn somewhere else, can i have 2 respawn points at once? if not, what can i do?
Deathwhisper Nov 20, 2022 @ 12:29pm
Only one Respawn point will be active and it will always be the last one you placed. However, you can build storage locations in form of Chests which you then can burry so they will not be easy to be found. If you then want, you could bring it home with a Vehicle if you obtain one.
As advantage you could even use these Storage locations as hidden Safespots where you can rearm yourself in case of trouble or to quickly safe some things you found and dont want to lose on a long way.

interesting, could you elaborate the last part, please? the safespots one

I found a way to level it up quite fast. After various testing, it is based on your body being visible, stamina used and distance travelled. Go find a nice forest with low lying foliage and crawl. It's about 6xp a second. Intelligence also increases the rate at which you improve skills. Dex increases movement speed.

Also, crawling gives more exp than being crouched. It ticks every 5 seconds.

Basically, you can bury the chests in a hidden place where you can come and rearm if needed.
