Another game I played, you had to point down and press R. I doubt if you can switch?
There is no Direct controll over what ammo you use. I personally always drop the ammo i do not want to use and pick it instantly up after, this way another ammo is chosen instead of the fresh dropped one.
Thanks. That's what I was thinking the current solution would be :-P I'll give that a shot!
Wouldn't happen to be 7 days to die, would it?
From experience my character seemed to prioritize the lesser quality ammo. Just a few days ago I had 2 sets of arrow: normal wooden and a few carbon ones I found on less than 30% durability.
I wanted to use the carbon ones, so I put these on the quiver and the wooden on backpack, the character used the wooden ones.
Then I've switched the carbon to backpack and wooden to quiver and again the wooden ones were used.
Then I've nocked the carbon ones and after the first shoot, back to wooden arrow.
Was under the impression the game woud prioritize the lesser quality first, but now I'm not sure anymore.
Thank you for the direct response. Appreciate your time in doing so. I will go down that route, but honestly after using these premium arrows and how they one shot puppets...I'm actually diggin' 'em lol.
By the way since I may have you here once again, the game has come a LONG way since I first purchased it on release. I'm very impressed and pleased with the amount of effort you and the team are putting into it. Keep it up and thank you for an awesome game!
Try it in combination with a compound bow and once you will be able to set it to as high poundage as you can, that will give them a proper hit even with improvised arrows. ;)
And thank you for your kind words I'm glad you are enjoying the game.
That is a bit weird, there will be sure improvements on this are coming in the future, for now, it's functioning and working as it should even if it does have some setbacks and lacks in features.
